I made a small mistake on DS-230. My wife mailed me signed Ds-230 and I filled it out for her. She gave me all the information. The third question where it says Write your name in native alaphbet if not Roman, I mistakenly wrote her Maiden Name instead of her new married name

Do u folks think it's going to be a big thing?? I think she can fix it at the interview before she signs part 2 at the interview

i think you will get an RFE for this, because the names dont match. NVC is really ####### when it comes to the I-864 and DS-230. I got an RFE because I didnt list ALL the places my wife lived after the age of 16. I listed 2 and missed 1 and got an RFE for it. I dont think it should be a big deal though, probably tell you to correct and resubmit it. just tell your wife to send you another signed copy and be ready if they request it.

I think you didn't get it. I am only talking about question 3 where it asks abot name in native alphabet. Everywhere else in the application, I put her name right. I personally don't think that I will get an RFE but let see. Will keep you guys updated!!

kevin, Did they complete your case and if they did, when was your case got completed?? Best of luck!!

yea, my case was completed on May 20th. now that i read it over, i dont think it should be a problem with NVC because chances are they wont be able to read it and tell that its incorrect. just make sure your wife fix it at the interview

Thanks kevin! That's good man! You should be getiing an interview letter and date any day now!!! Kepp us informed. I don't think I will be able to get a July interview, but i am hoping may be I get lucky. My documents both for AOS and Ds-230 were very very organized. It will be very easy for a reviwer! Let's see what happens!!

thanks, you might be lucky and score a july interview if your case get completed before the second week of june. Carlish did!

i spend an average of $50 a week on long distance calling. so expensive

me too!! :innocent:

I thought my $50 a month was horrible

I spend well over $100 weekly. And I am still waiting on my NOA2

DANG!

Has anyone ever thought of buying a phone card on-line? How about www.foneca.com?

Senegal - 1 min = 0.18 c (0.25 c to cell)

Vietnam - 1 min = 0.12 c (0.15 c to cell)

Thailand - 1 min = 0.03 c (0.10 c to cell)

Italy - 1 min = 0.01 c (0.27 c to cell)

Guinea - 1 min = 0.12 c to both, reg and cell

Pakistan - 1 min = 0.07-0.11 c (0.27 c to cell)

Hope this info will lower your monthly bill

I've been using that card for more than 5 years :star:

Well, I've been away for almost a week, so many things happened...

MUMTAZ, I'm so so sorry about your loss, I understand how you feel, because we just found out last week that our first child is on its way :), and I am scared I might have a miscarriage :(

VARESKA, sorry about your situation as well, hope all will go well for you

Congrats to all who got their cases completed!

And yes, I'm absolutely about a party

Congrats estrella!

My only good news of the day is that I mailed off the IV Packet today.

The bad news was my brakes started making terrible noise this morning. The worse news was when I got to Les Schwab they told me I needed a total front end brake job - $500. Getting even worse they couldn't get any fluid to the brakes, the master cylinder is burned up, thanks to a faulty cruise control (THANKS FORD!) - another $200 and can't fix it until MONDAY! Then to top it all off, I bought tickets to take my kids to the water park (over $150) last week for a big event TOMORROW, now I have no way to get there. I told them to fix my truck because I have no other vehicle but I have NO IDEA how I am going to even pay for it. I just want to find a hole and die right now.

Oh and the kicker - they told me that the master cylinder cap was swollen which typically means that oil has gotten in there and if that is true (which they can't find out until they replace the master cylinder) then ALL the rubber parts in the engine are bad - THOUSANDS of dollars to fix!

Sure wish this had happened 3 weeks ago when I had all that child support money come in.

No go through all the pages and look for the one that says Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam. Most like it's you. Most of the time there is only one but if there is more than one your case and someone else's case will get to HCMC at the same time.

I'm sitting here shaking my head about the brake parts Whidbeygirl. My company supplies Les Schwab with 100% of their brake parts and I could get them all next week for about $110. It's a shame you don't live closer and have someone who could do the labor for you or I'd have a great deal for you.

DANG that's a huge mark up! Well I guess there is labor in there too. They had the brakes in stock so they are already done. Just waiting on the master cylinder. The mechanic Jon is SUCH a sweetie!!! He drove 70 miles roundtrip to get the master cylinder and said he will do his best to get it installed by 8:30am in the morning so I can take my kids to the water park - assuming that all the rubber parts haven't been ruined.

Girly, sorry to hear that the dang car is giving you trouble now...

Finances are kicking my a** lately as well, but I have decided that it's just money, I am not the first nor last person in US in debt, you know- what charge it, and everything will take care of itself eventually :)

I am freaking out a little bit, just a little bit about my taxes. I sent my ITIN application and 1040 and rest of documents yesterday via express mail. I wanted to make sure they receive it today so that I don't spend the entire weekend tracking the dang thing. So, anyway, I check the website today and it shows as received, but the address I sent it to was zip code 78714 (Austin, TX), but on this delivery receipt it shows 73301. Granted, it shows IRS 73301, but what if they delivered it to the wrong location, wrong iRS department? You know how IRS is, they may just kick it back to me...

Argh, I hate this, and now I can't call IRS until Monday to verify they got it. This totally blows

I have decided on a dress I want for our vow renewal ceremony http://www.maggiesottero.com/dress.aspx?pa...amp;style=S5229

now I just gotta come up with money to buy it. I have a feeling I will take my own advice above and just charge it, what the heck, gotta be a little happy while we're alive :)

I want to put chocolate sash and the satin underneath will be more pearl-y, so the lace pops even more.

Anyway, I am excite about it so I figure I'd share that with ya
