hi all!

How is everyone doing? Just mailed AOS packet couple of days ago and will mail Ds-230 tomorrow.

I have a question for kevin and all others who got real RFE. When you got RFE, did NVC email you that Document Cover sheet that you had to mail abck with RFE documents and the reason for RFE?? or Did you have to wait for the snail mail???

Did anyone just got case completed?? Good luck to all!!

WhidBeyGirl, Thanks again for the reminder, I just updated my timeline!!!

A checklist letter will be sent via email. The checklist and bar-coded cover sheet need to be returned with the RFE package.

Things have been pretty busy for me in the last few days or so. I'm scheduled to leave for the Philippines next week, but I haven't even packed yet.

I guess I've been stressing over my husband's interview on June 8. Hopefully, the interview will be successful and I will be able to fly back into the US with him... finger crossed!

I know it's easier said than done, but try to enjoy this time. June 8th is just around the corner, and this is the time you and hubby have been waiting for for so long, beginning of a new chapter. Look how many people on this forum, myself included, are still months away from being at this stage in the process, cannot afford to see their SO right now... You will see your husband in a week, will be coming home with him shortly, never to be apart like this again. You are lucky Carlish, just don't forget that, ok? Don't stress about the interview, focus on how lucky you are to be with him soon! Now get to packing girl!

Thank you for the comforting words. I appreciate the support.

I know I shouldn't be complaining. We are truly blessed and lucky to be at this stage of this journey. But I can't help but get paranoid with "what ifs". I seriously wouldn't know what to do if things didn't turn out in our favor. I don't think I could bare leaving my husband at the airport again. :crying:

My husband and I really need your prayers. Thanks again.

Did you guys send in a letter from your employer with your AOS packet? I read that people are doing that as optional evidence, but I haven't received my letter yet and I am just so anxious to send this in, so I was wondering how many of you who got approved actually used employer letter as evidence?

I have all my tax transcripts and 6 months worth of pay check stubs. I am thinking that's enough ...

Hey Carlish, after you fly through the interview, when's moving day?

It's too bad we're not closer because like I said earlier, we all really do need some kind of party together. Wouldn't that be a riot?! :jest:

I'll be mean - I spend $0 on long distance. Ya gotta love Verizon for having unlimited free long distance to Canada. Okay, YOU don't have to love them for that, but I do. Sorry, had to rub it in. :bonk:

On an unrelated note, what the heck's going on out there! This thread has been basically dead for about a week other than a few questions here and there. No approvals, no interviews, no nothing. It seems like all of our news has been bad whether it's RFEs or life related news. I think we need to perk it up a little around here somehow. :energy: Maybe we all need to get together and have a party.

i'll bring the Coronas, hehehehe

I sent my employment verification letter with the AOS package. I asked my boss to sign another one and I will bring it with me just in case the Embassy wants to see a more recent one (the letter is dated June 1).

Thanks for your answers ya'll.

Hmmmm... my employment letter will take about 10 days to come in, big corporation and their stupid policies, my manager cannot just write one out for me and sign, it's gotta come from corporate. Now I am thinking maybe i should wait to get that letter first before I mail AOS.

Decisions, decisions...

hey guys, do any of you use msn messenger? If so, send me a message to exchange email addresses if you'd like

Had a H E double hockey sticks day!!!

Worked ALL friggin' day trying to get a contract ready by 2:30 - it was done at 4:50 so I look like a complete failure to my boss. At lunch I went to the store that has a photo printer so I could get SO's passport size photos only to remember when I was NEARLY there that they closed that branch so had to turn around go past my work and go the other way to their other store. I typically leave my office at 4, so the plan was to head to bank get all my and SO's copy of the DS-230 documents notoratized as copies of the originals that I am sending to NVC and then go to the post office and send off the packet. WELL, since I didn't get the contract done until nearly 5 I didn't get to do either of those things!! THEN I walked door and my LAZY teenage boys (17 & 18) who don't go to school right now and DON'T have a job, DIDN'T do a DARN thing at all so the sink was full of dishes and the house was a DISASTER, the fence that I specifically asked to be built so my goats won't get into my garden wasn't built and the fencing to keep the goats in their own dang pen wasn't mended either!! So I'm home late and already pissy. I feed my baby goats when I get home so I poured their bottles and put them in the bucket and ran the hot water to heat them up --- NO HOT WATER AT ALL!!!!!!!!! Yesterday I questioned the older two why the heck they turned up the water heater because the water was SCALDING hot and they both denied it and I got too busy to check it last night. I checked it tonight and nothing has been moved, I turned it all the way up and still no hot water, so now I know that the water heater is broke. My landlords (my parents) are nearly as broke as I am so I have NO idea when I'll have hot water again. To top it off those two lazy teenagers have VANISHED - didn't tell me where they were going or who with. Granted the 18 year old did build the fence for the garden. But after I fed baby goats, milked and fed the mammas I had to do the dishes - without hot water - and clean up the house (younger two pitched in a little with that).

It's a REALLY good thing I have NO chocolate in the house because I would so have screwed my diet over by now!! Instead I sit here eating 4oz of lemon pepper chicken and a cup of mixed veggies.
