Awww Chrissy, Sofia is just GORGEOUS! Thanks for sharing the pictures with us!

cmls and SomberCat - I'm hoping we'll all get interviews around the same time. That would be neat! :) I'm kinda hoping for the end of July. My best friend is getting married on July 25, so my husband is going to fly out here for that, and it would be most convenient if the interview could be a few days before or after.

Kevin - Congrats on getting the case complete! That's exciting!

Taj - You should get the DS-3032 email (addressed to your husband, but you'll be CCd on it), and the AOS fee bill email (addressed to you, but your husband will be CCd) at the same time. The IIN will be in the AOS fee bill email.

thank you

Is it OK if I resend DS-3032 again via e-mail? :help:

Yes, it is okay.

And, I will suggest thay you mail a hardcopy of it too. It'll save you time.

Oh, and I almost forgot to include some pictures! (L)

Your baby is an angel. May she be the coolness of your eyes and source of joys. Congratulations.

OMG

Husband just called and e-mailed me the DS-3032 and AOS. He called NVC yesterday and we listened to the same message we've been listening for 9 days. And today he got this e-mail from NVC and he called back NVC to let them know I won't get it because he noticed something was wrong. Guess what? They screwed up my e-mail address  Why not surprised?

lol

Congrats. Things move very fast from here onwards. Best of prayers.

I just called NVC and its official, my case is complete today! the stress is finally gone

Operator said June is all booked up so we're in line for a July interview. However, Im gonna bug them everyday until I get a interview date. hehehehe

me too lol

congrats, dude. best of prayers.

Sooo I called the NVC earlier and spoke to a representative. He said that our case is in "final review" and to call back in 10 business days.

I don't get it. We got the log-on error a week ago. I just checked and we still get the error... maybe I should try calling back and talking to someone else? What do you guys think??

thats very strange. You should get your case comleted this week, God willing.

question: do they give your INVOICE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER with the email for the ds3032 bill thingy?

yes ma'am. And, if your lucky, an operator can give you your IIN before hand.

To each is a goal to which God turns him; then strive together (as in a race) Towards all that is good.

Wheresoever ye are, God will bring you Together. For God Hath power over all things.

8 days no ds-3032 and aos bill :(

5 days for me too! OMG are we on AP? i hope not!

It takes 7-10 days. So, you guys are very close to getting your IINs. Be ready for a fast ride onwards. :)

To each is a goal to which God turns him; then strive together (as in a race) Towards all that is good.

Wheresoever ye are, God will bring you Together. For God Hath power over all things.

a quick summary of NVC process according to my limited experience:

- NVC receives case and assigns a case number (takes abut 7-10 after noa2)

- Call them as soon as you get your case number, and give them your email addresses

- Receive email from NVC regarding aos bill and ds-3032(choice of agent form)...this email will have your IIN number in it. (takes about 7-10 days after you gave them the email addresses)

- Things move very fast from here onwards.

- You are suppose to do two things now.

(1) Send in your DS 3032(choice of agent form). Email them and mail a hard copy. Email takes about 7-10 days to be accepted, and hardcopy takes only 2-3 days.

(2) Pay your aos fee bill through nvc website. It takes 2-3 days for payment to be accepted.

- Again following the same two things mentioned above:

(1) Once choice of agent form is accepted, you will get another email regarding IV packet (230) fee bill. Once this email is recieved, it means that DS3032 is accepted, and you should go ahead and pay your IV packet fee bill through the nvc web site. It takes 2-3 takes for payment is accpted.

(2) After your aos fee bill is accepted, the cover sheet will be available on the nvc website. print this sheet and send your aos packet to nvc. (you will know that payment is accpted when status becomes "paid" on the nvc website)

- Again following the same two things

(1) After IV packet fee is accepted, print the cover sheet and mail IV packet tot he nvc.

Right after sending the aos packet, start calling operators and ask for status. They will let you know if packet is being reviewed, or accepted or God forbid, something is missing.

It takes 7-10 days for a packet to be accepted after its mailed out and nothing is missing. If nothing is missing, you have a case completion. :)

A general advice: Dont wait for an email. Have your aos packet filled out, and your IV packet filled out. After you get the email, pay the bills....and when payment is accepted, print the cover sheet, and send the packets to the nvc ASAP.

Hope this helps. Best of prayers.

To each is a goal to which God turns him; then strive together (as in a race) Towards all that is good.

Wheresoever ye are, God will bring you Together. For God Hath power over all things.

That would definitely be cool. I'm guessing cmls and yourself will get your interviews a week or two ahead of us though. I'm guessing we'll be in the 2nd week of August or so while you and cmls should be able to sneak in at the end of July. Wouldn't that be great if it worked out perfectly with the wedding you're going to?

Just spoke to my hubby, he passed his medical exam. :star: The people at St Luke's Medical Clinic took his passport and told him that his test results will forward to the Embassy in the next couple of days. I guess we are all set for the interview.

5 days for me too! OMG are we on AP? i hope not!

Taj and FEISAL, don't panic...

I read somewhere on VJ that they generate the IIN and the DS + AOS on Mondays, and if you call early morning on Tuesdays, you'll have it. Well, I was on skype with my husband when he called NVC and we listened to the message over the phone and it was Tue night. And we got the e-mail with the bill on Wed at 6 pm but the date on the every page was written 19th.

When you receive your DS and AOS bill you'll see also your IIN on the docs.

So my guess is, if not this week, you'll have it by next Tue. Just be patient, and as carlish said you'll get when you don't wait for it

Thanks Remo, I was going to send the hard copy with snail mail to my husband. I'm just still waiting on my police clearance to get ready (translated and notarized as it goes to 2 Ministries  ) so I can sand all my paperwork (ds230, ds3032, PC, etc.)

Called nvc and checked the avr and heard the dreaded RFE missing/incomplete information message...eeeek! The horror! My heart completely stopped and dropped right down to my stomach for a second before I realized it might just be because of the aos pkg i haven't sent yet....so I spoke to an operator and she confirmed that it is because they are waiting for my aos package and my iv pkg review is complete with no such rfe! Of course i had to ask 7-8 more times if there were any chance i had an actual rfe....answer was obviously NO! WOOHOO!Yeah!

The avr said they sent the checklist by email on the 20th.....email shouldn't be this slow......how long should it take to reach my inbox? Any idea carlish...

Seems I will be waiting a VERY VERY long time for my aos packet to be put together.....joint sponsor is doing her absolute best to speed things up but she wants so badly to clear the misspelled last names on her taxes and for some reason the irs is being awful about it.....she says it shouldn't be long until the mess is cleared up, but my own estimates are more round about 1-2 more stupid months. :( . Ah well........I guess winter isn't that bad a time to go back to the states......yeh...right...winter in NY compared to Pakistan!!!lol!!

Congrats Kevinbui and Somber on your case completes! Hope you guys get really early interview dates. ^_^
