AOS bill was available for me to pay only 2 days after NVC case# was assigned. The actual email for DS-3032 and AOS bill came 4 days later.

Yes, you just respond to that email address, that's what we did.

We did not scan and attach a signed DS-3032 form like some people have; we just typed everything from the form in the body of the email and replied to that address. It was accepted the following week.

I don't know anything about the letter of employment part you asked since I haven't gotten to that step yet :)

Good luck!

It would have been better if the employment letter states your estimated annual income. But if you're getting paid hourly, I guess yours is fine too. All you need is a proof that you are currently employed.

The DS-3032 and AOS fee bill should be generated more or least a week after you get your NVC case number. You should be able to pay the AOS bill as soon as you receive the email.

If you choose to email the DS-3032, you send it from your hubby's email account.

Thanks. We want to get over the medical stuff and focus on the interview. It's nerve wracking. This part of the journey is far by the most stressing.

The medical fee is more or less $213.

Yay!!

This is awesome that we're getting case completions again. :star:

tomorrow(may21) is my interview day. hopefully, i wont have any problem. i wanna finally feel relief. the emotions i have been going through this whole visa process were truly incomparable; the anxiety, paranoia everything. though i know i shouldn't have to worry anything since our relationship is in good faith and our documents are complete, legal and true plus we followed all the guidelines...but i cant help it. it so hard to pacify myself specially this past days knowing that my interview day is nearly coming. getting a negative result tom. will be like a hell. hehe my goodness this visa journey is never easy. anyways, i know after going through all of this everything will be worth it at the end.

my fellow vj's please pray for my success tom. i have been very eager to gather some info's, ideas, tips about visa process and i am very thankful i found this site. here all of us are like brother's and sisters; helping one another! for those who will also have their interview tomorrow good luck to us and also to those who will have their most awaited day in the future best of luck. we can all make it!!!

Goodluck and get that darn visa!! You can do it. :star:

Congrats all the brothas and sistas who are getting completions and progresses on their cases.

I have bad news though. I've been bugging the operators again for interviews...I spoke to three operators and they all said that I have to wait till 2nd week of June to get an interview scheduled, and nvc isnt scheduling an more June interviews. So, our interview will be in july some time. Thats way too far away :(

any shortcuts?

This is good news for those nearing completions...try to get your papers in asap so that you have completions by 2nd week of next month...so that you dont have to wait for an interview date. As far as I am concerned, I might have to wait till 2nd week of june to get an interview.

My employment letter did not mention my pay at all. It just stated my position and how long I had worked there. And that if they had questions, they could call this telephone number 1800 REMO ROX.

So, they just want a letter. I dont think they care whats on it.

Check the website to see if the payment is available, and if it is...go ahead and pay.

:help: :help: :help:

Alright my friends, the documents that the hubster sent me should be here by end of this week, I am getting ready to send in the AOS and IV packet.

Need your help with DS-230, please:

Question #43a. Have you ever applied for a Social Security Number (SSN)?

My husband never applied for one before, so for this question I should answer NO in order for him to get one now, correct?

But I am confused by this:

"Do you want the Social Security Administration to assign you a SSN and issue a card? (You must answer YES to question 33b. to receive a number and a card.)

So I am looking at the DS-230 form and there is no question 33b.

The only thing I see under 33 is this:

33. List below all educational institutions attended.

School and Location From/To (mm-yyyy) Course of Study Degree or Diploma

Languages spoken or read

Professional associations to which you belong

There is no B part here, nor do I see how this question has anything to do with social security card. Did they mean must answer YES to 43b and they put 33b by mistake?

That's the only thing that makes sense to me, but maybe I am missing something...

Thank you!

In the form that i filled the question 33a is if you have ever aplied for SSN and 33b is if you want a replacement and then without a number it says if you wanted the Social Security Administration to assign you a SSN and issue a card and it says you must answer yes to 33b

Do you want the archive?

I am looking at the form right now, what you are describing is question 43 on this form I am looking at in front of me. I am so confused right now :D

Yea, its a misprint. I did not even notice it when I filled and sent mine out. You should enter "YES" here.

best of prayers.

There is another misprint in the updated DS-230, too. On questions # 31a and 31b they are still asking of persons named in 14 and 19 who will accompany and follow you now or on a later date to the US.

On the updated? form they did not change the question to named in 14 and 29.

I'm going to use the old form just to avoid any RFE
