carlish, how's your husband's medical going?

Finally! Congrats! :star: The DS-3032/AOS fee bill should be generated in the next few days or so. Everything will go fast from there.

My hubby is scheduled to take his medical exam on Wednesday and Thursday (that would be Tuesday and Wednesday here in the US). I hope everything goes well, but we are more worried about the interview.

I JUST PRINTED THE AOS COVER SHEET AND IT IS sHOWING THE OLD NVC ADDRESS, I MEAN 32 ROCHESTER AVENUE INSTEAD OF THE NEW ONE, SO WHERE SHOULD I MAIL IT???

Also, these are the things that I am goona SEND along with my AOS package

1)2008, 07, 06 Tax reurns (I know the other 2 are optional, but I am sending them anyway)

2) Job letter

3) Pay stubs

Is there anything I am missing?? Plesae let me know. Thanks all!!!!!

looks like youre good to go! make sure you sign the I-864 and check it one last time to make sure everything is filled out correctly. also, i think you should send it to the new address. i spoke to an operator yesterday and he told me to send it to the new one. old address mail will get directed to the new one so you will lose a couple of days. you should call an operator to confirm it. i confirm it with 2 different operators already

hi kevin and all others!!! So then, I think this should be the address where I am supposed to send AOS Package. Plesae correct me if I am wrong!! I am just not sure of zip 2909?? has anyone just mailed AOS package to the new address, plesae tell me which address you used!! Thanks!!

I sent mine to the old address. But I think you should send it to the address that was listed in the coversheet. Or call NVC to double check.

Hello guys,

yes its been a while since i posted my last comments... I still have not submitted my DS-230 ... its so not good feelings... My Wife and I are still waiting on her passport to come... if it would have been here then my case would have been completed as well... but I am trying my luck very hard .. and becoming optimistic as I am if we receive her passport this week.. and probabbly she receives the pcc by end of month still we wont get the interview date in July... so hope things work out well and she'll get the interview date in August 09.. this is so frustrating that.. all your processes are done and waiting on 1 thing which holds up entire process.. :(

good luck to me...

but on a bright side.. I am so happy for all of you whose case is completed and everyone else who moved to next steps.. Congratulation to all of you... and you have my best wishes...

 Never been so happy to get a bill! AOS and DS3032 came via e-mail today. I paid the bill right away.

Question about the DS3032...I see people are e-mailing them. How do you handle the signature portion? Do you sign it, scan it and then e-mail or is a signature not required if e-mailed? Also, they screwed up my wife's e-mail address. Does it matter if she sends it in from an e-mail other than what they have on file (only the domain name is wrong)?

We (the husband-beneficiary) did not sign, nor did we scan in the form. We just pretty much typed up everything that's on the form into the body of the email and sent it. Couple of days later, we got email that they accepted our choice of agent.

Just to be on the safe side, my husband also singed a hard copy and he mailed it to me together with his police certificate, so I will include that when I send in the IV packet.

Best of luck to you!

:help: :help: :help:

Alright my friends, the documents that the hubster sent me should be here by end of this week, I am getting ready to send in the AOS and IV packet.

Need your help with DS-230, please:

Question #43a. Have you ever applied for a Social Security Number (SSN)?

My husband never applied for one before, so for this question I should answer NO in order for him to get one now, correct?

But I am confused by this:

"Do you want the Social Security Administration to assign you a SSN and issue a card? (You must answer YES to question 33b. to receive a number and a card.)

So I am looking at the DS-230 form and there is no question 33b.

The only thing I see under 33 is this:

33. List below all educational institutions attended.

School and Location From/To (mm-yyyy) Course of Study Degree or Diploma

Languages spoken or read

Professional associations to which you belong

There is no B part here, nor do I see how this question has anything to do with social security card. Did they mean must answer YES to 43b and they put 33b by mistake?

That's the only thing that makes sense to me, but maybe I am missing something...

Thank you!
