Thanks everyone for your good wishes. I must say it was touch and go for a day or so when they couldn't recognise my birth certificate as being the correct one and getting the RFE!

Hubby arrives tomorrow for a couple of weeks so I'm looking forward to not being consumed by this process for a while.

i have a question about my 1040EZ. the occupations on the form are wrong, they have put nurse for me and doctor for my husband. technically that is wrong because we are both still studying for out boards to become a nurse and a doctor? i asked my cousin lawyer who prepared this and she said it would be not problem uinless i am thinking of immigration. do i cross them out and put the real occupations then send the 1040ez to the irs?

i need tot he 1040ez for my aos right? in one question it says do you want to allow another person to discuss this return with the IRS? do i put NVC/consulate on it? also i have a couple of dollars tax returns and it says to supply my account number for my refund...do i write in my account number, make a copy and this copy will go to nvc? please help very confused.

My understanding is that EVERYTHING must match for immigration. Painter and Painting Contractor therefore are NOT the same thing. So whatever you have on your immigration forms put on your tax forms.

No do not put NVC/consulate on it to allow to discuss - you will be giving them copies of the forms and honestly if they want to talk to the IRS they'll talk to them.

I don't understand your last question. You are getting a refund and you want to know if you should put your account number on it?? That's up to you, do you want direct deposit in 10-15 days or do you want a check in 6-8 weeks? Yes a copy of your forms and a copy of all W-2's and 1099's go to NVC with the I-864.

okay i will just cross it out and put our real occupation at the moment but you see in about a months time i will be taking my board exams and hopefully i will pass and that will change my status at work from a nursing assistant to a registered nurse (staff nurse) at the unit where i am working at in the hospital. hopefully after that my husbands interview will be coming up and i would to write a letter to the consulate stating that i got my license in between, moved up to becoming a nurse and a new employment letter.

Depends on what your state laws are. Washington state is a community property state so I can sign for my SO.

I have yet to receive my ITIN number for my wife (to finish taxes) so I am waiting to send my I864. Am I able to send the DS230 packages out prior to sending the I864??

yea you should send it in first. that way, you can have time to send in additional information if they issue a RFE

I tried to find a savable copy of DS-3032 and DS-230 so I can fill them in and save them (and e-mail) them to my husband. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any DS-230 that I could fill in and save and print later. Also, I wasn't able to paste the bar code on the DS-3032 with my Adobe, neither with Foxit. Could someone tell me how did you manage your forms?

Never mind about DS-230, I downloaded a plug-in for Foxit, and I am able to save it now.

The only thing that I still can not do is the bar code for DS-3032...

Never mind about DS-230, I downloaded a plug-in for Foxit, and I am able to save it now.

The only thing that I still can not do is the bar code for DS-3032...

I printed the bar code, used actual scissors and real glue and cut & paste it to the form :D

I would have LOVED to have that plug-in thing you had for the DS-230, we ended up printing out the blank and using pen and ink so OLD SCHOOL LOL!

One of the boys has three heart designs on his back so we thought to use something with hearts for his name. Valentine was one suggestion, then when I was feeding him I thought, Valentino. So we have Mochachino and Valentino, since they have names ending in "ino" we want to keep the theme going. One of my friends suggested Al Pacino but not too sure I like that one. Anyone have any other "ino" name suggestions?
