Just wanted to let everyone know we got our Noa2 in the mail today!!!! Finally!!

I called and talked a representative a few minutes ago. She confirmed what GhettoJatti said... I can just send the police certificate in Italian. That is good news... it should save us a day or two. I wish I would have known that when I sent in the original IV package, but oh well.

She also confirmed that the only thing they are waiting on is the police certificate and then the case will be complete, so the AOS package was approved (as well as all of our other documents in the IV package). So, that is some good news.

Hope the rest of you are having a good day, too!

My advice is always prevention. Is gaining two days now worth waiting a week or more for getting another RFE??

I don't fully trust the operators either. One of them told me that I didn't need to disclose my 2008 return in Q25, and looked what happened? That was exactly what was wrong with my AOS package.

yea, sometimes operators are wrong too. my friend called NVC last thursday and the operator told him that his case was complete. however, he received an RFE on friday saying that his I-864 was screwed up

just call nvc everyday and speak to a operator, when its loaded into their system, they will provide it to you. you need your USCIS case number, both petitioner and beneficiary name+date of birth

ok thanks...i am asking my husband to gather everything needed from him so he can send it to me this week. but right now the first step after the nao2 is getting the NVC case number? after that what do i do? i tried reading the shortcut but its confusing...please help! i gotta go thru this step by step with you guys

i see that DS-3032 & AOS (I-864) Fee Bill Generated (Email) is the next step in everyones timeline, what is this?

Taj - after you get your case number which will be 10-20 days after your NOA2 you give them your email address. A few days later you will get the DS3032 and AOS bill emailed to you.

The police certificate was in my mailbox waiting for me when I got home from work today, so that was a nice little surprise. I wasn't expecting it until later this week.

I called the NVC again and spoke to a very nice representative who also said that it does not need to be translated to English. So that is 2 for 2 and good enough for me at this point. I went to FedEx right away and sent it via priority overnight (it should get to the NVC by 10:30 tomorrow morning).

I kept a photocopy of the certificate just in case it needs to be translated... but both of them said the Italian version was perfectly fine to submit. I am keeping my fingers crossed that they are right.

Carlish, have you heard anything more about your case?? They should probably be done processing your re-submitted I-864 soon, right?

Thank you, i have not received our NAO2 in the mail since it was only mailed last friday, hopefully tuesday or wednesday i will receive it. i will try to call NVC wednesday or tuesday...

Chrissy, I'm glad the PCC has been taking care of. Lets hope NVC processes it as soon as they receive it.

As for my case, the revised I-864 has been entered into the system last May 1. I'm hoping to hear the magic words sometimes this week. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

This week has started really awesome for our FFFs. Hope this trend continues...
