Yes, I'm pretty sure. I didn't use 1040EZ either, I used 1040A to file my returns. AGI is your total income after taxes. That should reflect on your transcript or 1040 form (which ever version you used).

For instance my AGI is what was reported on my W2 plus 1099-INT.

I put my total income in Q23 (current annual total income) for 2009.

That bolded part confuses me. You've said it twice and I have checked it twice. And, agjusted gross income is before taxes, not after.

woohoo guys...false RFE! i woked up at 7:30am and called them. they told me that they were just waiting for the DS-230 and it was received on Apr 30. and is now under final review!

Now I'm trying to get my ds 230 delivered from USPS. They wont accept my instruction to redeliver - only from NVC. The guy at NVC said they would take care of this for me, but it leaves me worrying that my package might never get delivered.

Absolutely... its the False RFE.. nothing for AOS documents.. they are accepted..

This RFE is for DS-230 which I have not submitted yet...

I am wondering this is the fastest RFE that must have generated because according to there system my payments were cleared Tursday April 30th and the RFE was generated the very next day May 1st for the DS-230...

They should give atleast some time for people to send in there documents ... but I guess I would not worry rite now cus I am still waiting on my Wife's passport. so another 10 days...

I think you're right. Net income is after taxes. Anyway, I put my adjusted gross income in Q25 for each tax year (2008, 2007, and 2006).

Wohooo! I'm glad you guys got false RFEs!! Yay!! Lets hope our cases get completed sometimes this week.

Hello there, everyone.

I am so happy to see that so many of you have gotten false RFE's and not the real ones. They are no fun, trust me.

My husband sent me the "correct" police certificate from Italy on Wednesday, so I should be getting it tomorrow or Tuesday. Friday was a holiday in Italy... so of course the mail system wasn't working. Once I get it in the mail, I will have to get it translated. That will take another day or two. I am hoping to have it sent back to the NVC by the end of the week.

In some unrelated news, I was in the hospital for 4 hours on Friday. Still no baby yet, but my blood pressure was high when I went to my routine weekly appointment. So, my doctor sent me to the hospital to be monitored for a little while. Everything is fine... they just concluded that I am under too much stress with work and worrying about all of this NVC stuff. I was on bedrest for the weekend, but I am back at work today.

I haven't checked the AVR in a while... I will probably call at lunch to see if the AOS packet was approved. Other than that, nothing new for us. We still haven't heard anything about the expedite either... I have just come to terms with the fact that my husband isn't going to be here for the birth... but I am trying to find comfort in knowing that it won't be long after.

Hi there,

My DS 230 got delivered at 11.36 am this morning US time!!!!!!

Thank heavens for that - one less thing to worry about - the NVC AVR and USPS certainly put John and I through some worry this weekend.

So glad to hear from Kevin and DesiDon that their RFE's were false too. I'm sure VJ'ers coming along after us will find our experiences useful and will learn from it.

Chrissy and Ben - fingers crossed for your early case complete once they have the police certificate - I'm sure it will come through very quickly once that has been received.

Thanks, Carlish. I am trying to relax as much as possible now... things could be worse. I just keep telling myself that.

I called and talked a representative a few minutes ago. She confirmed what GhettoJatti said... I can just send the police certificate in Italian. That is good news... it should save us a day or two. I wish I would have known that when I sent in the original IV package, but oh well.

She also confirmed that the only thing they are waiting on is the police certificate and then the case will be complete, so the AOS package was approved (as well as all of our other documents in the IV package). So, that is some good news.

Just to be sure about the PCC, call again later and speak to a different operator and see if he/she will say the same thing. It doesn't hurt to double check again. You know how it's so amazing to speak to 6 different operators and they will say 6 different things.
