Plus...every sonologist I've seen so far(that'd be 3) has said that an ultrasound is only as accurate as the eyes and mind looking at it (sonologist/doctor). Ultrasounds aren't EVER 100% accurate, even if the result comes out right. Ultrasounds only give out chances...as to where without an ultrasound it's a 50/50 chance....with ultrasound you can get upto 90/10 to the very most, and using the very best equipment plus a very very good and experienced sonologist, but average is 80/20. But never 100%. So....I think we're pretty good...and I need to stop worrying and go w/ the flow already...haha.

On a different note....

I received a call from the ISL embassy saying I could come and pick up my new passport any time....that's great timing as interview is 1 week from today and after the interview we can pick up the new passport same day and not have to make the long a$$ trip to Islamabad again!!!!!!!! (IA) Worked out great....just like I planned. lol.

Congrats lixer, that was a long way to go that is finally over

I just wanted to share about me - I received 2 welcome letters so far, today I received my GC, yeyyy

Still no SS card, will probably stop by at their office tomorrow. Not that I need it that much as I still have my old one and since it's the same number don't see why I should get another one, except my name is different now, but I never really had to show my SS card before to anyone, no one never asked me to...

So, what do you think?

BTW, we went to the doctor yesterday - we are going to have a boy Both of us were surprised as we were thinking all the time it's a girl

He is not done with school yet We really had our heart set on first week of October arrival, and now our dreams are once again on hold.

Well, you're lucky to have a man who has his priorities straight....lol. Most people who have visa in hand for U.S.A wouldn't give two dirty diapers about education and careers and the likes! Education is THE priority! So.....best of luck on the toughing it out .

Yep, we like the name Faris Ali...it was initially my idea as it means the knight of Ali(A.S), which has an unlimited amount of religious significance to the two of us. We both fell in love with this name instantly...even though I was stressing over names like a mad women before-hand....but the moment this name popped into my head there were just no two ways about it!! lol. Due date is Feb 4...according to the latest ultrasound. We're going in for one more a day before the interview so that I can have recently updated proof of my being 24 weeks pregnant at that exact time....to help w/ getting that visa in hand (IA). Fingers crossed!

Congrats to all who have made it through these tough times, I thanks for all the help through the whole process. I have yet to hear if interviews for my wife and kids have been scheduled for November, good luck to those who are still waiting. Who do we have left from the February Filers that have not had interviews?
