Dang, but I owe to 8 different doctors, specialists, radiologists, pathologists... even if I set up $50 per month that's still $400 a month!

Don't get me wrong, I am not a bad person, I intend to pay all those people for their work, it's just that this year is such a bad timing ...

It makes me so mad that close to 4K of the 10K I owe is pharmacy billing, that's too damn much money for couple of IVs and pain medicine.

I cannot let this stress me out any more, because I have noticed I am getting weaker by the day, can't stop shaking and biting my nails, I catch myself looking like a crazy person looking completely distressed, lost, can't pay attention to anything any more, and my mom and husband have been telling me for a month now to seek a psychologists.

I would go if they wouldn't charge this much, all the healing he would do would be reversed once I received his damn bill

Thanks for your advice girls, I really appreciate it ...

So call them and tell them $5 per pay period and see if they'll take it, do what you can to work with them.

I found out when I got to work someone else just sent me a garnishment so I'll never be out from under this mess!

My husband called today at NVC and we found out the day of interview - August 18th.

We also got email today from NVc with the appointment letter for the interview.

I am so anxious...keep thinking about the medical examination now.

What do I have to do next?

Do I need to wait for some instructions from Us embassy ,or I'll just call tomorrow at the medical clinic in Bucharest and schedule a medical appointment.

I am so anxious.

We have IR 1 visa form me and IR2 visas for our2 little children ( 1 year old and 2 years old)..I am so curious ... Am i allowed to go to the interview also with my husband so that he can help me there with the babies , and papers and stuff I have to carry for tine interview? or I will have to manage all by myself with 2 little unpatient children....?

Any ideas?

Hey V, I just started back to school today and I'm starting off the year with psychology. So if you'd like me to treat you, I'd be more than happy. :P How about I only charge you a few drinks an hour? Just trying to lighten up your situation a bit. :luv:

On my own personal note, I've been reading, note taking and lecture listening for 3-1/2 hours and am only 2/3 through the first chapter. I'm thinking I might be too old to go back to school. Ugh. I guess that's what I get for taking an accelerated program that does 16 week courses in only 5 weeks. Dummy, dummy, dummy. And when is my final exam? The week I'm in Montreal for my husband's interview. I'll be sitting in the hotel the day after the interview doing a final. Whoopee... not.

Wooo hooooooooo hoooooo !!!

They allowed me to take time off work, so I can see my husband and be at the interview with him

And my tax return came through today, which covers my airline ticket price

I am leaving on 8.6 and coming back 8.22, without hubby:( but October is just around the corner when he will be here.

Just called my agent to confirm the flight, hopefully he calls me back today to complete the transaction and I can sleep peacefully tonight (after a looong time)

Already feel better from the teeth extractions I had done yesterday, so overall this day has been a great day and it's not even noon yet, so since I had good news for once I came here to share that with ya :)

By the way, I am trying to figure out when did I become this person that shares all kinds of personal ####### online ... :)

Love you allllllllllllllll

I need to vent... Hubby called NVC yesterday and asked when they'd assign interviews. They told him every second week of the month, so we did not catch the July assignments, they said next month  Hubby read somewhere that appointments are moved up for pregnant women though. Has anybody read or heard anything about it? Can't wait for him to tell me where he read that - he'll be back from work tomorrow (works on a boat). Thanks buddies :(

Ooooooooooooh you'll be a whole lotta drunk (not that that's any different from the current situation, right?)

One of these days I will go back to school, too.

I have a degree in business administration - finance, but I definitely do not want to study finance any longer. Turns out I have no talent in that field.

It's been 5 years since I graduated ... I don't know whether I still have that self discipline in me to pursue a masters degree, I'm actually kinda scared to start school again ...

Hey peoples, I just purchased my tickets!!

Chrissy e Ben may know, you may send her a message, because she recently had a baby and does not come here often. I know she was trying to expedite the interview, so she may know of good sources where you can start looking.

Good luck!

Yes, you may qualify for an expedition of case. Call the NVC and ask the operator for instructions to expedite the case.

Best of prayers.

Thanks for your advice girls, I really appreciate it ...

They can never force you to pay them. Max they can do is get you a bad credit. But, it goes away after 5 (or six?) years. Also, keep in mind, that even if you owe them a million, they can never refuse you medical assisstance....it'll be against the law.

So, you've got the upper hand in the negotiations.

My advice is that you should keep in touch with them. Ask them for minimum monthly payments. If you can afford it, agree to it...otherwise tell them that you can yet.

If they forward the debt to a collection agency...do the same thing. Keep in touch and let them know how much you can afford to pay monthly. 5 or 10 dollars would keep them happpy too...and it wont affect your credit.

medical bills suck

Best of prayers.
