I had a phone consult with Marc Ellis last week - I was very impressed and will be using him.

We have a returned K1 we're trying to deal with.

I interveiwed/consulted with many offices...Ellis seemed fair and logical. One of the few that asked specifics about the interview and my case's actual issues not just what "may" happen without knowing about my relationship. That truly bugged me about the other consults I had. How can an attorney give you any feedback or strategy without know the specifics of a case???

I remember the_dip_sticks used a lawyer or were looking for a lawyer and found one in California and the fee was around $5,000. I went to their member page and searched their topics for that thread and here is what I found for now that might help. A whole bunch of VJ members posted in this thread about lawyers they used: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...t&p=1105340

Both Kiyah and Chi has used him. Both had returned petitions, and both were successful. The key is to ensure that the lawyer you choose is well versed in returned petitions. Not all immigration lawyers know how to deal with those, even though they may claim too.

My husband and I have a lawyer who is in New York, my husband knew him when he was working in the city, so we used him. Plus the good thing is he is Arab and speaks Arabic, which makes my husband happy, so they can talk in their own language and understand each other. My husband handles that part of it, but if you need a name and number just hit me up. Good luck on your journey :star:

We also used Mr. Solomon and were pleased with him start to finish. He interviewed me as much as I interviewed him, prior to us agreeing on him taking the case. Made me feel at ease and was fairly accessible.

I have read quite a bit of negative regarding Holmes and Lolly so check out the threads before you hire them.
