So who shares a towel with their spouse? Maybe that needs a new poll. We keep a couple of them hanging up, but we usually just grab one or the other, whichever is the driest. We wash them once a week on average, but the cats like to pull them down, so if they've been laying on the floor, they get washed.

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

LOL But I don't believe you because I don't belive Sanita would be with a total piggy...

Anywhoooo.... hubster and I don't share bath towels. We keep a hand towel for anyone who uses the bathroom to dry their hands, but at least for me, I use my own bath towel. I don't know which towel hubster uses after a routine bathroom visit.

Oh, that brings up another question.... do you find it odd when people only leave out their bath towels for others to use to dry their hands when they use the facilities. Personally I don't want someone else using my bath towel. How well do I know they've washed their hands, ya know? So at someone else's house if I just see a used bath towel, I air dry... LOL

Towels get funky pretty quickly because they get sopping wet every time you use them and they don't dry evenly. If you don't change them at least once a week they get a funky gross smell from the ickies that are growing in them! So I aim to change them at least once a week to avoid it...

I use a different towel every time I shower. Hubby uses the same one for a week. We only do laundry once a week though so we're not washing the towels every day. They just get washed in the weekly laundry load. I do use a different towel when I wash my hair also. I use it for about a week before switching it out. I know I'm clean when I come out of the shower but I just can't reuse a towel. It grosses me out. It's one of my OCD tendencies.

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!

Me-twice a week about...Florida water is weird and mineral filled, which may make my towels feel less desirable after a couple days.

Hubby on the other hand, once a week MAYBE, and I have to just take his towel and put it in the laundry myself or else who knows how long he'd use it for. I htink he has gone much longer than a week before, until I noticed and told him to get a clean towel!! He is a clean and tidy person, but not in this aspect.

hehe...thanks for the links. I think this house used to have some kind of system, we found parts under the sink but we don't know how old they are. But I doubt we will spend money on something like that. :P

"Our Wedding Prayer"

Lord, help us to remember when we first met,and the strong love that grew between us.

To work the love into practical things so nothing can divide us

Grant us a Love that grows stronger with each passing year.

We ask for words both kind and loving

and for hearts always ready to ask forgiveness as well as to forgive.

Guide us to overcome every challenge

and keep our dreams pure to each other always.

Dear Lord,we put our marriage into Your hands.Amen

If your heart acquires strength, you will be able to remove blemishes from others without thinking evil of them.
