Really I do not freaking believe this! I told the post office guy to not seal up the box because I still had to put the money order in there. Well he was going to break and said anyone else can help you and he said I will sit your box here. Well as I was filling out the money order, I do not remember what happened, but maybe my phone rang and I answered. At that point the other clerk told me to go to her window and because that brilliant brain closed the box, after I told him not to, I now have the money order in my purse! and I am just totally in shock. Really I could cry. :crying:

I totally know how you feel, I did something very similar....a few hours after we dropped our petition off at the post office we got back to the house and my fiance asked me about the 'letters of intent to marry that I wanted him to sign as he hadn't seen it!! To my horror I realised that I had forgotten to print them off.....we called the post office to see if we could get it back but it was too late..........that was 5 months ago and we haven't heard anything since the NOA1. You won't have to wait long though...as soon as they open the envelope and see the check is missing they'll send it back ;)

When you get the package back.....

Remeber to make a copy of the WHOLE petition, including payment!!

You should send you and your fiances passports (its really great evidence showing you have both traveled to each other)...include ALL pages! Even if they are blank!

Good luck and dont worry!!! :)

The good thing is that they will send this back to you right away instead of waiting to send an RFE like some other things you could have forgotten. This will also give you the chance to add those passport copies, which hopefully aren't necessary since I didn't send them! Just boarding passes and pictures, like you.

Trust me, they need that money. I had already seen online where they had cashed the check way before I received the NOA1...and my bank is slowwwww!

Breath, accept a few days delay, and then jump on board with everyone else who is waiting! Good luck!

Sorry to hear that. When I sent mine out I kept thinking that I've missed something. It was a relief when I finally got the Noa1 and now I'm just waiting for some kind of RFE. But what I don't understand is post like this. Why didn't you post this BEFORE you send it instead of AFTER. Harder to fix something after the fact. Well good luck on your journey.

Ok, this is what I mailed

The I129 F

the supplement for question #18

both G325A's with passport picture

the promise to marry letters

my birth certificate

pictures

copies of boarding passes

phone bills

skype calls

selected im's

It looks OK to me, but I just have this feelingggg

phone bills , skpye calls, and selected im's are not necessary at the USCIS process.

you should have included a photocopy of the VISA stamps on your passport..

Good Luck!

The boarding passes and pictures will probably be sufficient for evidence of meeting in the past two years but what is missing from the list is the check for the filing fee.

OMGGGGGGGGGGGGG It's in my purse :crying: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

it really is...and I'm really sorry to hear you forgot to include the check in the package, but I learned something out of this today...I'll post the list of everything we put in the package and ask if everything is fine and nothing is missing BEFORE we take the package to the post office ;)

I'll cross my fingers everything goes well with your application.

NOTE: Not all of us receive stamps in our passports... Just a reminder as I am Canadian and have seen my fiancé approximately 20+ times in the US in the last three years I have only received 2 stamps in my passport that were illegible and before the two and were dated outside of the two years from our submission.
