Everything was fine, besides some wind gusts but no damage! I was hoping none of the screen would rip on our front porch. It was worse a little further north of here though. There was flooding in some areas west of here. We live about 8 miles from the coast and we didn't have any flooding, but houses right on the coast had some from the storm surge, but nothing too major I don't think.

I had drawn a picture of Alberto and put it on my blog Monday, along with this cheesy paragraph  :

We're having a guest over today and tomorrow, and he is planning on visiting a lot of other people too. His name is Alberto, and he is a very flighty type of guy. We can't trust him too much but we have no choice but to have him over. He's very overbearing! It will be very nice when he leaves! He shouldn't cause too much damage though, at least not as bad as his cousin, Mr Hurricane. (haha yes that was cheesy!)

Mr. Alberto

 heehee...a little cheezy...but funny!

Do you have a hurricane tracking map? When I lived down there, I got the biggest kick out of tracking the hurricanes when the weather people gave the coordinates of an approaching storm. Of course being from oop north, the idea of hurricanes fascinated me but I only had to go through one major one back in the 80's when Hurricane Kate hit the panhandle.

Anywhoo, glad everything is fine by you two...

No real damage here in Lake and Marion counties. Just a bit windy and lots of rain. These roads are ####### though, almost wrecked driving to work cuz of all the freakin road-flooding. :crying:

Just glad it didn't gain strength and nobody was hurt. :)
