Good morning K-3 honeys!

I just got the email for the I-129F

Picked up the originals of birth certificate and divorce decree. Will take them to lawyer and then I'm done! Everything else is ready. Just waiting on the case number to be created.

We might face a small problem with the police clearance. Netherlands will not issue it to us. They said they will only issue it to the embassy or to immigration directly. So now we have to check with NVC to see if they can send a request to the Netherlands...or if we can just give them the address to NVC, then they mail it and NVC add it to our package. Hopefully that won't cause too much delay in the process.

Thank you again for all your congratulations! I'm so so so so so lucky to have you guys and gals!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm totally wishy washy on the K3 vs CR1 subject. I just want my husband here asap. I could care less if they take 2 years to give him permission to work. Could care less if he doesn't get a greencard immediately or if it takes forever.

I'm mostly concerned with the chances of getting put into AP after interview. Even though he's got a clean record, the problem is that he's Muslim, born in one of the watch list countries...and I've already been married before to an immigrant. Yeah, my ex has no status here, but I'm sure they'll still hold it against me...even though my ex and I were together 10 years (4 of which were without immigration)...yeah, stupid teenage "love"...shoulda listened to my parents.

I keep debating everything. My main concern is that he gets here ASAP. So I'm thinking the K-3 is better...but I'm worried that they'll still put us in AP even if we go the K-3 route and then we'll lose the chance of getting the CR-1 and finishing with immigration for a couple of years...

What are your opinions???

Why is your embassy in Venezuela?

Check the website, they will probably have a post stating where everyone needs to go for their needs.

Because we are to small to have one, We and the other island Bonaire and Curacao fall under Us Embassy In Caracas for immigrant Visa

the Consualte in Curacao doesn't handle immigrant visa's

Is the airplane issue something political??? I'm confused

I would say the best thing is to contact the consulate or embassy there in Venezuela and ask them what they recommend you do. I went to their website, but didn't see any information about airplanes not being allowed in or being re-routed. Is it something temporary? Or will you have to take an indirect flight (that is, fly to another island and then to Venezuela?)

Yes it is Political it's the Venezuela president hatred to the us

the Reason he is making this stop is because he doesn't want Venezuelan people to get US DOLLARS, yeah as simple as that

He has the authority President an all.

As for flying by another island makes it difficult, cause not many flights to ay neighbor island other than the ABC's to fly into Caracas that i don't have to go through US Territory. Since we have us immigration pre clearance on the island that i can't go thought till I have my visa or risk being band!

So now i did send an email to US Consulate in Curacao see what they advice, since NVC is not really aware of the issue

and has not been published on US Embassy

Cause we are a minor amount of applicants

So we will see what tomorrow holds

I rather go to Curacao (consulate) or Bogota, Colombia, which for traveling to this country is safer then going to Caracas, crime and ubduction really high there that i told my husband he is not going that is just asking for trouble. So really i rather go somewhere else

But i will see what happens tomorrow
