"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

OUt of Curiosity can you get rid of the lawyer if you wanted to?

You can fire a lawyer at any time, but depending on his policy, you will still have to pay him part or all of what you owe.

Aruba, I wish I never got a lawyer. I could have done it myself too. You guys did the smarter thing. My husband is basically paying a lawyer to type everything which I do all the work on. I fill out all applications and provide all documents. All they do is type it nice on the apps and then mail it for me

Sonia - Thank you honey! I was wondering where you were at! How's it going with you? What stage have you reached so far? I see your case has been forwarded. Are you going the K-3 route?

Well...I just got my AOS hardcopy from NVC(my DS3032 was accepted on 2nd of this month)...No trace of K3 till today.. Embassy is not responding....we will definitely be goin with CR1 as I believe it will take less time than K3 to move....

I wanted to to flip the k3 interview with cr1, but I think k3 interview will be on a later date than cr1  ....

Anyways...we gonna have a real party this week :dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:

Sonia

BTW OUR I-130 and I-129F were both approved TODAY (as far as I'm concerned we can trash the I-129F  ), I'm going straight for the REAL DEAL the I-130/CR1.

CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR APPROVAL AS WELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lisa, shake that thing!!!

Sonia, if I get an approval for the K-3 also, when I get my hard copies, I'm gonna also pursue both and try to flip the interview dates. I should probably do a search here and see how far out the Netherlands people are scheduling their interviews.
