Additional (things I've only learned from my uni students)

Magnolia. I thought it meant flowers or a meat product but it actually refers to big bosom women.

Bobita (Peron, no offense to the person who had that surname) but it is (bobita) a sugar coated word for 'stupid'

La fez or La fang. It's not face or fangs or pangs but refers to food or feast. :P

Tom Jones. And I thought they were talking about Tom Jones, the singer but it actually means, 'hunger.'

"chaka" means "ugly face"

"nakabingwit ng matabang isda" literally means "caught a big fish" for finding someone who is rich

We will make a funny, sour face and say "Grabe!" when we just mean, "Oh, really?"

Hokey Smoke!

Rocky: "Baby, are they still mad at us on VJ?"

Bullwinkle: "No, they are just confused."

"Sure" means "yes".
