sania1234,

Your husband is in AP and in a field investigation right now to verify his documents and family information. Most men coming from Islamabad have been getting AP with an average time of 5 -6 months. AP has no time limit/frame and it can last days, weeks, months and in some rare cases years. Have him submit the information that they are requesting and hopefully he will clear the AP shortly.

Everything I respond to is from personal knowledge, research or experience and I am in no means a lawyer or do I claim to be one. Everyone should read, research and be responsible for your own journey.

I would think its a good sign that they are asking about the siblings, at least its not stuck in the blackhole of AP with no action.

good luck and i hope he is cleared very soon

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!
