I had my medical exam last Januiary 14. I Passed!!!!!!!!!Weheeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For everybody's FYI:

Things that you need to bring on your Medical Exam:

1. Appointment letter

Either:

-sent by the National Visa Center or

-an e-mail print out of your appointment sent by the Call Center or

-the appointment date shown on their website (http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3238.htm)

Note: You have a copy of this at least two, just in case.

2. Appropriate medical Examination Fee ($213.35).

Note: You will pay in Peso not $. The rate of $ varies. They will have the amount posted in front of the Casher Window.

3. Passport

Note: PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT go to a Medical Examination appointment if you do not have a passport yet. You need the passport to be able to have your Medical Examination.

4. Two colored pictures (2 inches by 2 inches) with a white a bakbround.

Note: It is has the same specifications with the photo that you will bring on your interview for your Visa. DO NOT show your teeth on the picture. Make sure you gave identical picture.

TIPS:

- PRINT the instruction for Medical Examination on this link: (http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3238.htm). It will beyour guide and make sure to follow all the instructions there. And if they will give different information for example asking other documents that you do not have because it is not included in the requirement, show them the instruction and what it only asked you.

-DONT TAKE "NO" FOR AN ANSWER

-I must say I have quite an issue there during my Medical Exam. First was appointment letter. I did not have the one that was sent to me by the US Embassy(the packet 3). I only had the email sent by the Call Center when we schedule it through them. The guards wont let me have my med. exam because they need the appointment letter sent by the US embassy. I was so frustrated. I told them I did not receive it yet. I had pulled out the instrutions and showed it to them. I had the read the area which says: or an e-mail print out of your appointment sent by the Call Center. They said okay. They gave me the form to fill in and I was muchos Happy. I thought I had to go back there again.

-IF THEY WILL SCHEDULE TO A LATER DATE other than the next day for your result and vaccination, unless it is okay with you; you can tell them you need can come on that date (just make all kinds of excuses) and that you need it done the next day. That is what I did when they asked to come back 6 days later.

-Its not mandatory but it would be best if you MEMORIZED your CASE NUMBER.

-DO NOT FRET. They will give you a flow chart together with the forms that you will have to fill in. Familiarize yourself with the flow chart so you would know what to do next. It is very easy and they are quite organized there. In every Section that you will go, they will give you instructions where to go and what to do next. Remember, it does not hurt to ASK.

-PLEASE PAY ATTENTION. Make sure to listen when your name is being called.

GOOD LUCK!!!!

Eto na lang mas presentable. Hehehe.
