Well at least you'll have it in time to catch your flight.

After you get over here and get settled, I think you should send the consulate an e-mail and let them know about the chitty service you got from SMS. You paid extra and it's not doing you one bit of good. Wes had his visa in three days and he only paid the 9.50 regular fee PLUS they had to deliver it to Northern Ireland!

Oh i went through Chicago, it was easy, those people are nice, I went to the desk & gave him my brown envelop, he then took me & the brown envelope to a desk right at the bottom, where a very nice man did my papers, 5 minutes all done

on the flight, instead of filling out the green I-94 , you fill out the white one

Hey all. Ollie's visa was scheduled for delivery on MONDAY, but Ollie talked to someone who managed to reschedule delivery for Saturday! the visa came, he made all his flights despite the horrible customs line at JFK, (no luggage tho!). He's napping off the jet lag and I shall soon be joining him. Thanks all for your support

Im so glad you posted Hannah! I was about to PM you to find out if he made it!

I can't understand one thing - Ollie paid for a special delivery and yet he got his after I got mine..I wonder if it was to do with the distance - I'm only 10 miles from Central London and I know he isn't (wasn't).

Either way it sucks he had to wait longer - I'd have gladly waited longer if it meant he got his first cos I didn't have a plane to catch.

Alls well that ends well tho I guess. At least he made it thru and you guys are together again
