Question about Biographic Information

Hey guys,

I have a question. I recently send in my IV package, but now a sudden trip comes up for my spouse. She is planning on visiting India for 4-5 days. She is going to acquire a VISA for India (her first visit there). So my question is - will there be any problems at the interview time when the consulate checks her passport, because the passport photocopy we send did not have an Indian visa?

Not a problem. Keep photocopy of visa and mention this trip to IO at the time of interview.

Um, you need to copy only the BIOGRAPHICAL page of her passport. Why would they make an issue about a trip to a nearby country? They won't see all the stamps in the entire passport. Only the consul at the interview, right?

I make visa runs to Cambodia and Laos all the time. I'm in Thailand. I hope that doesn't become an issue!
