hello VJ friends....

I am going to send the I 751 package next week....

the situation here is that...my wife is the US citizen, we were not able to change her name into married name in all the documents... the married name shows only in the IRS returns and the SSN card....and the auto insuruance and the auto loan...BUT the credit cards and bank accounts and the drivers license carries her maiden name........Its all because the Texas Driving license people will not accept the marriage certificate from a foreign country...even if the Social SEcurity Office and the USCIS and every Federal agency accepts it :innocent::innocent: ....so instead of going through the court we tried to change the name in the naturalization certificate....to save some money as a few friends of ours did the same.........which also got delayed at the local office (first time they gave us the certificate without any middle name after 4 months and we send it back and now its more than 6 months in the second time. )....

so my question is ....will this give any trouble to us.....the difference is only in married name and the maiden name in the documents ... the address and everything is the same for past 2 yrs...

did anybody went through similar situation? ......

since we filed taxes for the 2006,2007 and now 2008 with the married name and didnt had any problem so i guess we can use her married name as her currenct name. Right !!!!!!!

What about your utilities?mortgage or lease?is it both in your names? That was my problem my husband purchased the house before we met/married but I addressed it in my cover letter so I suggest you make a cover letter and state your concerns.Goodluck!
