Why more biometrics? I noticed the extra 80 bucks for biometrics to remove conditions, but hell, my face bones don't change and neither do my fingerprints. Both of which they already have. I know I'm premature on this, but mostly I'm just really curious.

Thanks guys.

They don't keep biometrics on file for longer than 15 months so with every new application you need to refile biometrics so they match the right person to the file. If each file takes longer than 15 months to process, then you even have to redo biometrics. It is more to ensure the identity of the person seeking that particular phase of immigration benefits rather than thinking your fingerprints and photos have changed. They will use the photo they take of you on your ten year card so they definitely need to redo those. I agree though, it does seem really redundant.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Huh. well. Do you suppose if i filed for removal of conditions EARLIER say, 15 months in, they could just nix the biometrics and the 80 fee?

BarHar.
