The biometrics appointments letters usually come within the month but getting the actual appointment within a month is also good.. Vermont has started to transfer its backlogged files now to California so it appears they are able to get to some of the basics for the new files faster. Good to know for new filers. Good luck.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

I see what you mean....bio or interview!!! In the corner of my letter it says ASC Appointment Notice, but in the letter it says, "To process your application, the USCIS must capture your biometrics". We have to go to Portland, Maine where we've been going for the past 2 1/2 years for appointments and bios.

Do I have egg on my face!! Oh well it's still faster than I thought!! So I'm happy with that.....lol... :innocent:
