Still waiting on my Greencard

I went for my Greencard interview with my wife on Dec 12th, 2008. Everything went well and I remember the immigration officer saying that everything looked good and my greencard should be in the mail in three weeks or so. It's now almost two months since the Interview and no welcome notice or card in the mail. I was wondering if anybody else has had to wait this long or is it something i should set up an appointment to find out what's going on? Thank you for your help.

Did they stamp your passport with the I-551 stamp? Did you check case status on USCIS.gov? http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis

I would do an info-pass appointmet to ask what is happening with the case.

You should have heard something before now. I would make an infopass appointment at your local office and find out if the card has been issued or what is happening with your case.

No they didn't stamp my passport. I think I might have to set up an infopass appointment

Info PAss is good Idea.

On my interview officer told us that my green card would be in the mail in 1o days. But instead, next day after interview, I receiveds a letter asking for supportive evidence and appointment for the 2nd interview!! That is crazy. Officer was so nice, and congratulate us twice, she also give me instructions about EAD card and explained how to apply for permanent GC. I am going to INFOpass, I think it is a mistake.

I think they have lots of cases there, and mistake is possible.
