I'm trying to fill out the DS-156, DS-156K and DS-157 for my fiance in Lima; he's been working at internet cafes and having trouble with formatting and it seemed easier if i fill these out and print and mail them to him along with the other papers I need to send him for his interview.

However, I now see that a component of the DS-156 is electronic, and it's giving me a bit of confusion. Will there be a problem if I fill out the electronic part with his info and submit it from here in the US? Also, when I look at that form it seems that after I hit "continue" at the bottom it refers me to the actual paper form. Could someone please explain this to me? Does the electronic part just speed up the rest of the process?

Sorry if this question has been answered before, but the search feature is not working so well for me.

NOT a problem, the DS-156 is a special webpage the page generates a special barcode on page 3 of the form, the barcode contains all the data on page 1 and 2.

The webpage does not store any data, just generates the data barcode.
