Ok I am about done filling out everything on my drafts i just need to do the passport thing and of course translations and maybe I am going to include affidavits... but I was looking ahead to the next process in NVC and i have some questions...

I went to Jame's Shortcuts on visa journey and wanted to know if i use a joint sponser, will i need to pay an additional $70?

If I pay the fee bill online, how do I provide the documents needed? (My income tax return information for the past 3 years)

For the DS-230 form, It says I will need to provide police reports, court and prison records, can i get that at any court within my county? Deportation records?? Is that from the FOIA???

I need to get 4 certify copies of my marriage certificate?

The barcode, will it be mailed to my husband in Mexico?

Someone told me about a Pardon or asking for forgiveness, no one has mentioned that on here, do they ask for that during the visa part? If so, how do you obtain it, how much does it cost, and is it sent through mail or do I have to write a report or something?

On the DS-230 it asked to list employment for the past ten years, how about if there isn't any within that time?

For the 2 waivers i have to do, do i write a HSL latter for both or does that count as being together?

ok I think that's about it for now, I will be asking more if i think of some. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated!

Moving this to NVC forum.

1) I don't believe joint sponsor needs to pay an additional $70 fee, the Two I-864 forms are treated as one.

2) You still mail in the required documents.

3) For Mexico police records ate NOT available: http://travel.state.gov/visa/frvi/reciproc...ocity_3622.html

4) Not sure where barcode gets sent to, I believe US citizen in the states.

5) Waiver???

6) "Unemployed"

7) Waivers are by the request of the interviewing officer.

So, it's only police certificates from Mexico?

I still need to obtain the court and prison records from here though right?

So, right now i should be getting the court records, he needs to get his passport, affidavits, pictures, passport photos, marrigae license (original with translations), and his original birth certificate with translations before the NVC gets the petition??

By "Here" what do you mean? US Citizen's or beneficiary's? From USA or Mexico?

Gather just after NOA2 letter from USCIS.

I'm so confused reading everythig about barcodes, fee bill, ds-3032, attachments...I just want to know what I will need so i can start gathering it now so when it comes time to send off the forms I won't be going crazy and I'll have everything on hand so I can just send it off!

Are you the petitioner or the beneficiary?? If you are the petitioner then let your wife/husband (beneficiary) fill out the DS-3032 Choice of Agent, the form can be downloaded at NVC site. After approvals you keep calling NVC if they already got your case and if the DS-3032 and AOS fee bill generated, the beneficiary can email or mail the DS-3032 choice of agent form. And she/he (beneficiary) also need to fill up the PART I and II of DS-230 only part I must be signed and provide suporting documents like bigraphic copy of passport,2 passport size picture, police certificate, marriage cert, birth certificate..etc..and DS-230 cover letter. She/he can visit here to follow the template of DS-230 cover letter http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/...s_Shortcut..The beneficiary should send Ds-230 package to the petitioner..You can print out later the DS-230 barcoded coversheet and AOS coversheet after you pay the fees online. You can only do to pay if you can hear in NVC AVR or confirm it to operator that IV bill is generated then it's time for you to pay, make sure to get the IIN or wait it in the mail.

If you are the petitioner, no need for you to get the police certificate, etc...You will only provide and prepare your I-864 package with supporting documents.

Hope this help you. God bless.
