I feel so bad for you Amal. You are such a sweet and wonderful person and all this happens to you. I wish I lived close enough to you so I could give you a hug and help in any way I can. If you think of anything I can do, let me know. In the meantime I am sending lots of hugs your way and good vibes. Hopefully things will work out and this will all get past you.

thanks again everyone! We had a plumber out here and they found out that roots had made their way in. They cleaned out the mess, charged us over 400 dollars and went on their merry way. did I mention that the clean out pipe wasn't above ground (which is like never the case....except this house....that I bought.....ugg) so the camera search is what cost the most ......

We spent most of the afternoon sucking up the water from the bathrooms. got about 5 gallons or more (guestimating) .. I know there were at least 3 full buckets of water that we emptied from the water sucker thing...

Can you make a claim on your insurance?

my guess is that is below the deductible threshold.

Lol, I already look at it and laugh although I think it is more to not cry than anything. I find it quite humorous that the problems aren't stopping because this has been my life from day 1. It's always something with me so I was really hoping that it would stop and always be nothing for a while, ya know. Sometimes a girl needs a break. *sigh* Nagi and fellow smoke room bandits... you're all welcome to my porch any time! (which by the way the wood is no good and has to be replaced...

....i cant help it.... :D ......... like others have said, HANG On!! ...the best is yet to come- keep that in mind (F)(F)(F)

we thought about it but it's less than our deductible so far .... I honestly don't know which way is up or down here lately!

uggggggg so much at once.

That's exactly what I did when my pants ripped the other day..I just sat there looking at it (more like willing it to fuse back together) but I just started semi-giggling to myself as I walked back into work....When a customer called and griped coz their copay was a whoppin 50 cents...I calmly hung up the phone and said "I think I need to go home" and the tears started rollin down my face..I had officially cracked....

Last night was somewhat better. They cleaned the roots from the pipes, gave us a 6000 dollar (ish) estimate to repair it , and went on their merry ways. We'll see how long we can go without getting it repaired coz, well, we just flat don't have 6000 bux hangin 'tween our butt cheeks at the moment.

I have slowly been getting the laundry caught up. Tomorrow my son should have clean clothes to wear! woohooo  Next will be all of the blankets that we used to sop up the floods in the bathrooms. yuck! I hope the blankets fit in the washer without stripping the turney thing (no charles, THAT is not what I'm talking about...put ur hand down coz I'm not callin ur name to comment on that lmaooooooo)
