Check the poverty guidelines in the Foreign Embassy forum and check for yourself if you´re above or bellow.

I think that if it´s just the two of you, it should be enough, if she supports anyone else, then it might not be.

hath,

Nowhere on an I-134 or in the I-134 instructions is an income requirement specified - I-134 merely asks one to reveal what their income, if any, is.

125% of the poverty level is not the requirement for a K visa. The requirement for a K visa is that the consular officer be satisfied that the visa applicant will not become a public charge after entering the USA. If a sponsor is needed to meet this requirement, the guideline for income is 100% of the poverty level - but when all circumstances are considered that may not be sufficient.

$14,000 is marginally over the poverty level for a family of 2. Whether or not that will be satisfactory in the opinion of the consular officer processing the visa application will depend on what the overall situation looks like after considering all of the relevant factors. If your fiancee is found to not be a satisfactory sponsor then you will need to have a different sponsor.

With a family income of $14,000 per year you may have a bigger problem than getting the visa (and adjusting status later on) - life is not fun when one is hungry, money problems are one of the leading causes of divorce.
