Does anybody know the trick to getting this information?

I wanted to e-mail to request a cancellation appointment if one was available but the woman I spoke to on the very expensive telephone line refused to give me one! Such a waste of £12

Correct, CANCELLATION may imply the engagement is OFF and you are CANCELING the K-1 Visa process.

so once they have a date on the computer I can ask for the code to reschedule. Now I get it

I ring every day as of yesterday evening still no interview date. I will try again after 5:00 when I assume the office staff probably leave for the day.
