It's been 105 days eversince i sent back the RFE we were asked to.

I called USCIS last week, and i spoke with an awesome man. He's been very helpfull. He made an expedite request for me, for a kind of an internal EAD. He said that if i've got nothing in 5 days, than i should call back.

So i called back today and spoke with a B*****ch, can't call her otherwise, because all she was doing is reading again and again my case status, something that i'm doing myself more than twice a day.

Did anyone else had to apply for an internal EAD, and how much did it take you to get it?

Thanks!

never heard of anything called an internal EAD unless it is something that is issued by the local USCIS field office (which they stopped doing as a practical matter several years ago).

YMMV

Maybe that's not how you call it, but it's a local document that has the EAD power.

The officer assigned a number for this case and everything.

All he has done is send a service request to the service center that is dealing with your EAD. USCIS stopped doing interim EAD at local offices back in sept 2005.

You would be much better off going to your local office on a infopass appointment and find out what the delay is.
