hey I have a question for anyone....

I am married and going through the administrative processing...

can i put my husband down on my taxes as married?

even though he is not here yet but i lived with him for a time?

I think the ITIN number will take so long

Can I apply for married but filing seperate....

Yes you can file married jointly

file married filing jointly and take advantage of his exemptions=) unless his foregin inc is so high that ur taxes will go up

read ur timeline... it's sad we have been on AP for nearly 16mons now:( hope urs won't last as long.. and same no 1 knows what his happening=) i assume it's 'name check'

thank you SO much for ur reply and ur comfort... i think ur time is coming soon and u will get ur visa soon iA just keep praying !!! its so hard !

seriously i am so down

but i am going ot be with him for a couple of months now... iA and we will wait for his visa but i am going to the embassy there and tell them how unfair it is for married couples to live far,.....
