We have an INTERVIEW in Kiev next Tuesday!

We just received an e-mail from embassy in Kiev with the interview date on June 20 at 9:00 am!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As you can see from my timeline, my fiance requested an interview just this Friday and they scheduled it in less then two weeks! :dance:

I am overjoyed, but can this be real, or they will realize that they have made a mistake???? :unsure:

Anybody had this happen? I am sure nervous now! I was so worried that I might be part of the IMBRA.

Praise God! He leads us all along the way and without bumps, so far! I keep praying everything will go smoothly from now on.

September 15 - 2005: NOA1

October: Waiting

November: Waiting

December: In Security checks

January 2006: Waiting

February: Waiting..Contacted Congress

March 4th: APPROVED

March 17th: NVC posted file to London

March 20th: London Receives file

March 29th: Receive package 3

April 13th: London Receives package

April 19th: Medical - June 13th: INTERVIEW......APPROVED!!!!

June 20th: ARRIVE IN USA

Time taken for whole process 9 Months

October: 13th: Sent off AOS Package

November 3rd: NOA1

November 14th: Snail mail ~ NOA1 ~ Case moved to the CSC for faster processing.

November 14th : CSC has petition for me and my daughter.

December 14th: Biometrics completed.

January 17th: APPROVED AOS!

January 22nd: Green card arrives in the mail:))

Time taken for AOS - 3.5 Months

Finished for 2 years.

Yes, it is possible. Each consulate seems to have their own way of doing things. At the consulate where my husband and stepson had their interviews last fall (Asian), my husband hand-delivered packet 3 and was told to come back THE NEXT DAY for the interviews!! We were so surprised... especially since I had been planning to fly over to be with them for their interviews, bringing with me most of our evidence of relationship. I had already mailed him a small packet of copies of emails, phone bills, and letters, but I had most of it here in the US. I did fax the consulate a letter saying to please call me if they had any questions.

It all turned out fine.... they did great in their interviews and they got their visas.

SO, I would just make sure your fiance has all the paperwork and Evidence he needs, and you may want to contact the consulate to tell them how to get hold of you that day (night) if they have any questions.
