We submitted our I129f in October 2008, since I have travelled to Seattle from both Vancouver and Calgary probably 17 times, twice by plane, and the rest by car. Each time I told the officer I was visiting my fiancee, they often ask what forms we have filed, I tell him the truth and never once have I had a problem. Now that we have received our NOA2, will travelling be simpler, or more difficult. Thanks alot.

more difficult.

I dont recommend traveling any more. you should wait until after your interview now.

After the NOA2 they send your peititon to the NVC (national visa center) and here they do a background check...supposedly thats what they do.

But if you are traveling around it will take a lot longer for them to do this.....

Your petition will go SOO much quicker if you stay put now!

After you get the NOA2, maybe 1-2 weeks your embassy should have your petition and will send you packet 3. maybe 2.5 weeks it will take if that. After you fill out packet 3 info you will send that back and they will send you packet 4 with your interview date. so you might have 1/2 more months before its all over.

Good luck!

the immigrant can not do the visiting... but the us citizen can go and visit you.

reason being is because they are trying to get all the information on the immigrant.

nothing wrong with the us citizen with visiting you tho!!!
