Hi Guys it's been a while I didn't write here but on Monday my Lawyer sent a letter to Vermont Service Center to inquire a Status and extension of Prima Facie in my case. And yesterday, today they touched my case and I'm really freaking out wondering if it's a response to my lawyer's letter or a decision. I've already gotten RFE in August and was sent out November 16. Any comment???

04/19/2013 - Married to my U.S.Citizen wife

04/26/2013 - Mailed forms I-130, I-765 and I-485, received by USCIS 04/29/2013

05/06/2013 - Received NOA's for all three forms; all dated 05/01/2013

05/10/2013 - Received Biometrics appointment for 06/03/2013

05/22/2013 - Biometrics taken walk-in

05/21/2013 - Request for evidence (supporting docs for I-864, obtained a joint sponsor)

06/12/2013 - Response to request for evidence received

06/19/2013 - I-485 Case Status updated to Testing & Interview

06/26/2013 - Received an e-mail AOS interview date is 07/29/2013

06/28/2013 - NOA for interview date and time received in mail

07/29/2013 - ***I-485 INTERVIEW*** @12:15

N-400 Naturalization

04th Dec, 2012 - N-400 filed

12th Dec, 2012 - NOA Received

14th Dec, 2012 - Biometrics Letter Received

26th Dec, 2012 - Biometrics Completed

11th Jan, 2013 - Placed inline for Interview

07th Mar, 2013 - Scheduled for interview

16th Apr, 2013 - Interview Date

16th Apr, 2013- US Citizen (End of USCIS Journey)

Hi ,

My case has been showing initial review every time i check online even after i did biometrics and I received a letter for the interview. Did you receive a letter from uscis or just checked online? If it's online, it could be a web mistake.

My case status before the interview was at Testing and Interview, after I did the interview, it was updated today and went back to initial review.

N-400 Naturalization

Hi guys i am new to this site and i was reading up on everyones journey. I recently sent in the request for a renewal for my prima facie determination but no response as of yet.I filed on

I-360 FILED APRIL 6TH 2009

APRIL 14TH 2009 RECEIVED REQUEST FOR EVIDENCE

MAY 22ND 2009 EVIDENCE WAS SUBMITTED

JULY 20TH 2009 RECEIVED PRIMA FACIE DETERMINATION WHICH EXPIRES JAN 2009

DECEMBER 16TH 2009 CASE TOUCHED

DECEMBER 27TH 2009 REQUEST FOR AND EXTENSION SENT OUT.

I AM SO NERVOUS THAT MY CASE IS TAKING SOME TIME AND IM PRAYING THAT IT GOES THROUGH BECAUSE ALL THIS HARDSHIP AND PAIN HAS GOT TO BE WORTH SOMETHING ESPECIALLY WHEN A SMALL CHILD IS INVOLVED. I PLAN ON FILING FOR THE DIVORCE BUT I CANT AFFORD IT SO THATS THE ONLY REASON I HAVE NOT FILED FOR IT YET.

ANY SUGGESTIONS ON MY CASE GUYS WHAT DO U GUYS THINK? I SUBMITTED POLICE REPORT, 3 AFFIDAVITS FROM FAMILY AND FRIENDS AS WELL AS PICTURES OF US BEFORE HE BECAME ABUSIVE. UNFORTUNATELY I NEVER TOOK PICTURES OF MY BATTERED FACE OR THE BLOOD STAINS ALL OVER THE HOUSE. aFTER COMING HOME AND MEETING YOUR SPOUSE WAITING FOR U WITH A SAMURAI SWORD THE AND SEEING KNIVES LAID OUT ON YOUR KITCHEN COUNTER THE LAST THING ON ONES MIND IS PICTURES. THE POLICE CONFISCATED THE SWORD AND OFFERED ASSISTANCE WITH PLACING ME IN HOUSING BUT I COULDNT PUT MY NEW BORN BABY THROUGH ALL THAT SO I CAME BACK TO MY HOME AND LOCKED ALL THE WINDOWS AND DOORS EVERY SOUND IN THAT HOUSE MADE ME JUMP. I REQUESTED MEDICAL RECORDS FROM MY DOCTORS SUCH AS STD REPORTS AND (YES I GOT STDS FROM HIM) FOUND OUT 4 MONTHS AFTER MY BABY WAS BORN ABOUT CHLAMYDIA, BUT THEY CAME IN TOO LATE I HAD ALREADY SUBMITTED THE I360 REQUEST.

SO ALL THIS AND MORE WERE INCLUDED IN MY REQUEST. I HAVE AN APPOINTMENT WITH A SHRINK THIS WEEK IM NERVOUS ABOUT THAT.

WHAT DO U GUYS THINK??

Congratulations LostinNJ for your approval. I also want to congratulate all other members who got their approval recently.

I have a question for Victorysmine that have you received your EAD yet as I am still waiting for it. Please tell once you get it.

There are so much variations in the timeline for VAWA as some approval took nearly two years and some got in six or seven months and I also read one case got approval in two or three months. Its very surprising.

Hi guys!

My VAWA was approved February 2, 2010 (filed March 24, 2009). Long wait.

Does anyone know what the quickest way would be to employment? I was married to a USC so the priority date on GC is well passed from what the processing times are and I don't need to wait for an available visa number.

Should I just file AOS I-485 or I-765 as well?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hello guys I just received the text and email message from USCIS that my I-765 EAD has been approved...whew ! So I can renew my driver license and started looking for job. I received my RFE for my I-360 yesterday and I and my attorney are responding to it..... Thanks guys..Deeplyhurted what about you any news ? Am happy right now about the approval of my I-765 but not totally happy cause I want my I-360 approved so I can get approval on my I-485...I need to move on with my life.
