Hey bubbles, I'm so anxious to get my interview letter, I check the mail box everyday lol. But I know it will take atleast another 10 days to get here, hopefully.

I'm sure you will, I'm about 2 weeks ahead of you. I'm waiting for the results of all my medical, I had a chest x-ray yesterday since my tuberculin test was positive. The doctor said that he's sure that the x-ray will be normal, I don't have any symptoms of TB and the reason why my skin test is positive was the vaccine I received in childhood. Hopefully, everything will be normal, otherwise I really don't know what to do next.

Anyway, to everyone who's journey has just started, I wish you all the best. We are here and if able, are all willing to answer your questions and concerns.

Just in case, FYI, we are exempted from form I-864/Affidavit of Support requirement if our I-360 was approved and are applying for lawful permanent resisdence.

:help:Hello guys,

I have a few questions to ask, am still wondering about it.... Is it possible to approved VAWA I-360 without requesting for RFEs ? I filed on January 12, 2009. I received my 1st Prima Facie Determination on January 13, 2009 which expired on July 12, 2009 also received my 2nd Prima Facie on November 07, 2009 which will expired on May 06, 2010. But I haven't received RFE like everybody else in here. Am confused and getting scared also worried, what is going on ? Is it normal like that or what ? I need opinion of you guys that went through this situations or already going through it right now. I was in removal proceedings but Immigration Judge recently Administratively Closed my case in order for me to seek the benefit am eligible to with USCIS. So my Attorney filed in my I-485 and I-765 concurrently to join my VAWA I-360. My I-360 was fully detailed with lots of evidences and facts. So guys what do you think ?

yes indeed you could get approved with out the RFE . its just depend on the cas EVERY CASE IT DEFFIRENT THAN THE OTHER believe me if the immigration need some from you they will ask for it. and by law they can not denid your cas with out give the opportunity to submit new evidence .so dont worry if you give them alot of details

some people get RFE . some dont . and some get 2 RFE its all depends on the case i got one tow weeks after i file for vawa (good moreal) i did alot of search on vawa cases and the bottem line is every body have to do his time in watting from 7 month all the way tell 2 years so just keep your fingers crossed its look like my prima facie expier the sam day it yours

tak care

everything that happening at this moment is a RESULT of the CHOICE you ve made in the past...

I have been waiting and waiting now with 2nd Prima Facie determination but I can't wait any longer I need approval soon. January, 2010 will be 1 year since I filed ( 12 Months ) Some waited for more than 12 months before they ( Vermont Service Center ) started asking for RFE after they've wasted their time, and thats why am been worried. I don't want them to waste my time, if they need something from me they better ask me now. I have suffered enough ! I need approval. Am depressed and anxious everyday in expectant of some kind of news. Anybody in my position will pretty much understand what am going through. I have chronic PTSD, Hallucination, Suicide Ideation, Depression type II due to the Abuse and Extreme Cruelty I faced from my Ex-Spouse. My prayer is for us all to overcome whatever we've been through and move on with our lives. Hang in there guys !!!!!!

Congrats mona_lisa. I'm not sure on your question about if you remarry. I would think you would not be eligible for citizenship if you remarry but I may be wrong. By the way guys today I received my interview notice for 25th January 2010. Wish me luck. And just a very quick question, on the notice it states to bring your spouse's birth certificate or evidence of US citizenship, do I need to take that? Because I don't have it or even a copy of it.

Hello Victoryismine,

Do not worry. Everything will be fine. I can understand your situation. Physical hurt gets heal with the time but the emotional and mental hurt takes years to heal or may be lifetime. It really hurts when someone whom you loved so much did it with you. We scarified so many things like our family, carrier almost everything to be with such person. But they never regarded our feelings, our pain and think us like toys to be thrown here and there.

I will pray for you and everyone of us to overcome from our difficult time.

God Bless

Very happy for you!!! you made it through the end!!!

Very interesting question about remarry, I would like to know the correct answer , I knew that you couldn't get married if your VAWA was still pending and, I remember when I went to my interview the officer told me about the 3 years for the citizenship instead of 5 years

Happy Happy day for you!!!

Gabriela
