hi all

I need help

To those who been through and got an RFE can you pls tell me what evidence did you sent to VAWA for additional evidences to determine an applicant is eligibility for the benefit sought..

I dont what it is can anybody help me pls..

any help appreciated

ashley

Calm down, let everything run. U can't call uscis to ask what evidence is needed, you have to wait to get the RFE in the mail to see what they are asking for. Most likely it will be 1 of the 3; good faith marriage, police clearance or more evidence of abuse. Just wait until it comes in the mail, don't work yourself up so fast.

Hey yayah, I really wanted to send a letter to my congressman but I didn't, something kept telling me to hold off on it, but then when I got to the 15th month of waiting, I finally got my first RFE for good faith and good moral character. Yayah give it like another month or so. By the 12 month you should hear something

Also Yayah, I did send Vermont a letter asking them to adjudicate my case, I send them a letter 1 month before I got my RFE, so I it was like my 14th month of waiting, I did it on my own, I didn't have my attorney do it. I felt like my attorney did nothing to help me in my case, I felt like I did it all by myself. I sent letters, I did my own inquiry, all he did was fill out a stupid form and slap me with $2, 500.00 Everything else I did by myself.

Hi VJ-ers, I'm glad i found this forum where people have similar cases like I do. I've always thought that I was alone and my case was soooooo complex, nobody really understands but now, i feel 'at home'. Just want to say a big THANK YOU to everyone for sharing their experiences. I am married to an abusive USC and just about to start filing my I-360 and I have learnt a lot from this forum.

My question is, what happens if you file for I-360, I-485 and I-765 concurrently, they approve I-765 and later deny I-360? do they void the EAD; place you in removal for the I-485; or what? I don't know if it is safe to file for all of them together, especially as I need a job while i await the decision.

Please, i desperately need your advice

You can apply for EAD as long as you file concurrent with I-485, you will be approved for work authorization.

Hi Chase, welcome. You are not alone, most of us in this forum have had similar experiences to yours. You can file all 3 concurrently, your EAD will be approved for a year. After a year you would have to renew it if you haven't yet received your green card and they would continue to renew it until your I360 is either approved or denied. They wont make a decision on your I485 until your I360 is determined. Dont worry, if you can prove your abuse and your good faith marriage, you should be approved, so far no one in this thread has been denied. Good luck!

Here is what I learned, or perhaps things have changed.

When u file all the 3 at once (I-485, I-765, I-360), you will get the work permit. But if the I-360 is denied, so is your I-485, then ur I-765 is revoked and they immeadiately put you in removal proceedings.

However, if you file for I-360 alone and wait, in the event that it is denied, they do not put you into removal proceeding, unless u were already in deportation when u filed. They will just deny it and leave you alone.

Therefore, your choice is between those two devils.

Disclaimer: This is my personal research online, and what an attorney told me on consultation. I did not hire an attorney for my filing because they are too expensive, yet all they do is fill in paperwork. This I could do on my own. I am broke anyway.
