Dear Friends,

Did anyone apply for I-131 Travel Document and how long it takes to get in hand. Please update me.

I checked in this forum, some of them mentioned 3 to 4 weeks.

Hi Honest, I applied for i-131 along with my i-360 the first time and got it in around 30-35 days. HTH.

I wouldn't advise anyone applying for I-360 to travel on I-131. Again do not travel unless you have green card in hand.

Yes, I got the same advice the last time I checked in this forum. I think it was lostinNJ and even my atty told me the same thing.

lostinNJ - is there a reason you advice not to travel? My atty wouldnt give me details.

Dear ashleyblack,

I think we both have filed our VAWA almost at the same time. Please tell the proceedings of your case. I think it will take around two weeks to receive NOA 1. I have also not applied for I 485 and I 765 at present as I am still working out for applying fee wavier if possible. I think it is advisable to include the copy of NOA 1 receipt of I 360 with your I 485 and I 765 petitions.

best of luck

Dear Honest,

The request letter and budget you made for fee waiver is awesome. I will take help from it for preparing it.

Thanks

deeplyhurted

This is for a fee waiver request...

coz as they said you need to have other documents besides an application for a fee waiver ...

a proof of inability to pay...

Dear Ashleyblack,

I see your post that you already send your I-360, I wasn't able to check the forum for vairous reason. Anyhow you can see the below for FEE WAIVER.

I also want to say that there is no fee for VAWA and no photos

Hello All,

What is the importance of priority dates if the abuser is US Citizen? Should I have to mention it in I 360 form (but there was no column asking that). I have included the NOA 1 receipt of I 130 but did not mentioned anywhere else.

What do you think about that?

Thanks

Hi lostinnj, I haven't received anything yet from USCIS. I was hoping that this will be over before the year ends. But then, I waited this long, time flies anyway.

Good luck to everyone.
