I know there must be something coming in the mail for all of us soon, approval might be coming soon as well. But we will soon be approved soon or later with smile of relieved on our faces.

To all the victims in this forum, approval is coming soon, keep believing and keep hoping and also be assured that your pain and your encounter is not in vain...you will be relieved of them all. We are all victimized but we will all be rewarded so that we can move on with our lives to succeed. Anybody that went through the abuse and violence is qualified to file for VAWA I-360, you do not have to be in status but the abuser must be a U.S citizen or Green Card holder to qualify you to file and the abuse must have been done to you in United States. Also must prove that the abuse take place. Above them all it might be late but soon or later you will be approved... Good luck everybody going through the pain like me and may God bless you all...Amen

I just checked and the touch yesterday on my app shows now that a second RFE was sent. Has anyone else got a second RFE? If yes, what was requested in the second RFE?

My second RFE was for "marriage in a good faith".

And what kind of document were you able to send for that RFE?

Not much. I didn't have a lot in a first place. And when I left to shelter, I left a lot of stuff behind.

so i responded with 3 witness affidavits from people who knew us as a couple, rent receipt, picture of us, marriage invitation, his application where he stated me as a "significant other" before the marriage, letter from shelter that I really didn't have anything on me, and my own declaration explaining the reason why i didn't have other papers.

I-360 VAWA:

November 1 2008 filed.

November 21 2008 NOA1

November 25 2008 RFE #1 received [good faith + good moral character].

January 7 2009 RFE #1 sent back.

June 9 2009 received a letter "Response to RFE #1 received on JANUARY 13, and case processing has resumed"

August 17 2009 RFE #2 [good faith].

October 27 2009 RFE #2 sent out.

October 28 2009 Response to RFE #2 received, and case processing has resumed

October 29 2009 touched

December 30 2009 touched

December 31 2009 touched

February 8, 2010, APPROVED.

September 4, 2010 touched.

AOS:

March 18 2010 I-485 filed to VSC with a fee waiver.

March 22 2010 I-485 received.

April 13 2010 NOA1 with a "fee previously collected"

April 16 2010 touched. Biometrics appointment sent.

April 30 2010 Biometrics appointment date.

May 3 2010 Late biometrics done.

May 4 2010 touched.

June 26 2010 touched.

September 22 2010 case transferred to NBC.

September 23 2010 touched.

October 5 2010 case is transferred to USCIS office.

October 6 2010 touched.

October 8 2010 touched.

October 20 2010 touched. Interview notice date.

October 21 2010 touched.

That looks like pretty good response to an RFE for me. I dont know if everyone gets the same RFE in which case I have do a lot of work again to get the docs in place.

Hello young turk, when i filled I-360 alongwith I-485 on 2007 that time i applied for fee waiver for both of my application. so i didn't pay

any filing fee.

Hanah

how do you apply a fee waiver?

how do you write the letter do you have any example?

thanks

I think I got a fee waiver because I had filed 765 and 485 concurrently before and I just had to submit the reciepts. But mostly the att.. took care of it. From what I read and understand I think you will need to prove inability to pay like your current income against expenses to get a waiver.

--Please note this is only from hear, say and a few sources I read from, I could be completly wrong. So i recommend waiting for inputs from others in this forum.

Hello All,

I know we have to send the photostate copies and not the original of all the document. But I am wondering that do we have to notirize the photostate copies as well?

Do affidavits are sent in roiginal or their copies?

Thanks in advance
