Hi Sweetheart! Thanks for checking at me....... I'm hanging in there! It's hard to move on with my life not only for not getting an approval on my case but with all the issues I have had from my own past in my marriage.... But I'm still fighting, keeping my sight in God and waking up every single day looking for an approval notice in my mail

God bless you all guys! My prayers are with all of you!

Thank you, you guys. GhanaMade, it took you about 2 weeks after the biometrics to get your work permit right? I hope its the same for me, I need to get myself a job.

Hi EWTN! i dont know whatr happen to our case but i guess we should still move on woith our lives while waiting.. i hope you're doing great

Hi Yahya!

I did call customer service 2 months ago and I received a letter in my mailbox few weeks later stating that they can not confirm/deny existance of my petition. I did provide all the key information when I contacted NCSC but instead they requested me to send a written inquiry. So since they gave us an option to send them an email to assist petitioners, applicants or their authorized representatives who have contacted the NCSC number (1-800-375-5283) with an inquiry but feel their inquiry was not adequately addressed within 30 days or who feel that the response received from the NCSC was not sufficient. I included the following information with my inquiry:

-the SRMT inquiry number that you were given when you called the NCSC,

-the date that I contacted the NCSC,

-Name and receipt number and/or A-number, and

-if available, the name of the NCSC Customer Service Representative I spoke with.

And few days later they replayed to me saying:

Please be aware that the Service cannot confirm or deny the existence of your petition/application over the phone or through a referral. Please send your inquiry in written form with the original signature of the inquirer. If there is an attorney of record or representative, please send a properly signed G-28 Notice of Appearance of Attorney or Representative. Third parties will not be recognized. Thank you for your understanding.

For future status inquiries of a petition or application filed at this Center you may want to utilize our National Customer Service Center by calling 1-800-375-5283. If you would like to obtain forms, filing instructions, case status or schedule an appointment with your local office, please visit our website at www.uscis.gov. You must use the InfoPass Appointment Scheduler prior to visiting your local office.

So finally I understood that for confidentially and security reason they won't give you any information of VAWA cases until you send them a written form with copy of your latest prima facie letter and that was when they finally touched my case on August 12/2009 and I received my extension of prima facie letter. I have talked with some people that called NSCV as well and they also received the same answer from Vermont. If you get the same letter I would recomend you to write a letter, get a copy of your prima facie and mail out to them.

God bless you...

I'm doing it because I saved money to hire a lawyer from his state. I wanted to divorce him since we separated.
