So, it could be......... Good luck! Take care and I hope those would be good news!!!!!!!

OMG ... my case has been touched three times this week 9/15, 9/16 and today 9/17. What are they doing with it??? (I feel like I am going to hyperventilate)

Dear EWTN,

Did USCIS touch your case. Are you trying in any other way other than the congressman.

Could you please write a letter to them about your present situation and also mention your pain and suffering in that letter and send it along with the blue letter.

I really don't know about your case but just want to help you.

I am waiting and running to my PO BOX everyday to see the approval notice. hope today I will get it.

Hope you will be next in the approval list. I wish you all the best.:thumbs::thumbs:

keep you posted.

I don't know when they touched my case until EWTN mentioned in one of the previous post about touched the file , I don't know about catholic church and also about public benefit too. All I came to know about this VAWA forum and it all very helpful in one way or other and thank all of you who shared the information in this wonderful forum.

Dear Honest,

I can still not check my status online. How many months after filing could you search for your status online. I am just not able to despite of having the EAC number and the prima facie. Is my file in process by any chance, what is really happening, I am really getting stressed about the whole issue.

Please reply

Dear Gina,

Any update on your online status check. Did USCIS update your information on your case.

Dear Honest,

My case hasn't been touched lately. Last time it was touched was on August 12/2009 when I sent them a letter requesting an update on my case because my lawyer keeps telling me that there is nothing to do but wait and I received an extension of prima facie case few days later.

This week I have sent a letter to a new congress lady, no response so far, and also sent emails requesting help to CATHOLIC CHARITIES in other counties, because I found out that the closest office to me has been closed. It's very difficult to me to go to another office because I have no transportation.

Indeed I need help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Any advises?

Finally, I got my approval notice letter to my PO BOX. I got two letter one for DEFERRED ACTION and another for approval. In the approval they mentioned as shown below. Can anyone advise me on the below statement from USCIS.

The above petition has been approved.

The petition indicates that you, the self-petitioner, are in the united states and will apply for adjustment of status. The information submitted with the petition shows you are not eligible to file an adjustment of status applicatoin at this time.

Additional information about eligibility for adjustment of status may be obtained from the local USCIS office serving the area where you live.

Until you file an adjustment application, or apply for an immigrant visa, this approved petition will be stored in this office. If you become eligible to adjust status based on this petition, you shouls submit a copy of this notice with Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Resident or Adjust Status, to the local office.

Did anyone get letter like this. Plz let me know.
