To inpeace or anyone. I know it is kind of weird, I'm not sure why I didn't get a prima facie. The last letter I got from them said that they are waiting for another file from a different office and my case may take little longer than usual. Also I'm in removal or maybe when my lawyer sent the case to Vermont she forgot to include my marriage license wit it until 2 weeks later and I was very mad about that, but i have the receipt said they received my case in sept. 1st. I hope there is nothin wrong

stillHere ; don't worry my friend got the same mail as you do , i have same your letter you can see in page 178 and my questions and answer some friends in page 179.

by the way do you have any RFE? IF YES When send back RFC Request .can you see update case online or not ?

i think after recieve RFC and send back request you will give prima face

Hi Guys,

So I went to my lawyer today and he suggested that I file an infopass to see whats up with my case and to see why I didn't get the biometrics for my EAD... He also said that it would be a good idea to contact my local representative and fill her in on the story. I will have more news for you after my infopass on April 27 "InshAllah"

I had court on the 14 of April, overthere I asked my lawyer why I didn't get a prima face, she couldn't give a straight answer and all she told is that I have a strong case, said that my wife is crazy and a criminal. But anyway I don't think infopass will do me any good. I dont know about where u from but in my city(Philly) infopass is just a waste of time. I have been to many infopasses there and the last time I went to infopass for my AOS case which was pending for over 2 years . On that day they knew a NOID was sent out to our house and to the old address of my former attorney,they refused to tell me and we found out after my case was denied that the letter that was sent to our address was returned by the post office bcuz my soon ex-wife didn't care about It and my previous attorney never got his and as the result I'm in removal. So base on my experience infopass probably won't get me anywhere in Philly anyway. But I will ask my lawyer if she can do it me personally I may not do it.

I also got the same letter, but I got the prima-facie a week after I applied....

nov 04 Went to interview by myself, told officer will aplly for vawa

11/04 I485 touched (still on initial review)

11/21 officer called lawyer about the I485 (btw: really nice IO)

12/10 apply for VAWA, without background check

12/11 lawyer drop off a copy of I360 for the IO

12/15 Prima faice received

12/18 sent background check, also sent a letter to IO asking to expedite the I485 to vermont to be linked with I360

12/31 I360 touched

08/04 Apply for EAD renew

08/18 receive NOA

08/26 new card ordered

08/31 new card ordered (again??)

09/01 notice of approval of I765... (where is my VAWA approval??? God help me...)

09/03 EAD arrived in the mail!! ufa!

10/03 Sent letter to renew prima facie and inquire about vawa status.

10/05 I360 touched- changed to "Request for evidence review" (WTH????)

11/27 Recieved prima facie extension

11/30 VAWA APPROVED!!!! yupiiiiiiiiiiiiii12/04 I360 Touched

I don't know what is going on, I'm starting to panic now. In about a week it will be 9 months since i filled but nothing. No Prima face, No RFE No touches Nothing. what you guys think? Beside infopass. Should I call, send a them a letter or some. Any input will be appreciated. Thx. My next court date is September 22nd.

I will send them a letter and call. Hopefully, someone will act on it. When you call just tell them you want to make a service request because your case is outside normal processing time which according to their website 7 months.

Hi there Stillhere, its might seem unusual yes, but there are people here that never received prima facie or RFE, and their cases were approved. So you never know.

It will be 9 months since I filled as well in a couple of weeks. i received the same letter that you got, about files being transfered, and I also got a prima facie. I am actually on my second prima facie. And like you I have not heard anything else, no touch, no RFE, nothing. My hope is in God alone. Hang in there.

Kwala the wait is the most difficult aspect...but you've come this far, don't give up now. If like you said, everything went well during the AOS interview, relax. They probably have a lot of files to go through, remember it took 7 years to get here...the wait is almost over. Goodluck my friend.

My AOS Interview was Good .

she ask me if i have kids 4 time while she ask me other questions in between ,i said no mam i dont have

She ask me for medical exams i said i send it to vermont service center .but how can someone stay healthy 7 years of drama .

she said i will look for that medical exams and that all for today .she took i-94 from my passport and my previous EAD cards .and make some copie of employment letter and court documents previously sent with my i-360 .

i just now call uscis customer service ,a nice officer told me the information pop up for your status i-485 is at local office there is no RFE ,and just 1 additional month left for decision just 1 month because uscis local office here where i live process now cases befor mine now 17 august 2010 i file i-485 on september 2010 that what i know i have to wait 30 days ,next month september 2010 cases .they will pick up my case .no one can review my case again in 30 days Only A Rebot because my case took 6 years to final decision of i-360 and many officers involve on the case .

the only thing they are serious about at the interview of AOS is if you maried again while your i-360 pending or broke the law after i-360 approval .

evrything else is waived .

Thx Myjay. It looks like we filed at the same time, good thing you had ur prima face. What type of evidence did u send? I'm just gonna keep praying Allah(God) hoping to hear something soon. I wish u a good luck and everybody else. I don't know what else to say but God is good
