My Friends .i wish that everyone doing well .

i dont know and will never know or understand how and why things going on this hard way .

i file adjust of status since setember 2010 ,the interview was on mars 2011 .until today i dont get any response or decision .the officer at the interview told me i will hear decision in 30 days now it has been 60 days .and after info pass they told me to wait 108 days .

the uscis local office in there website process adjust status for 18august 2011 .my case still at the local office pending but next months they will start process of september 2010 .do we have to wait 4 months for adjust status process and also wait for processing time at the local office after the interview .

please anyone out there got any adea tel me what i have to do .am going trough two accidents treatments and cant wait more than 7 years of process .i give up sure enaugh

Sorry about that kwala, all I can tell u is just wait and give them 90 days. Don't think they forget about u but I didn't. I think the officer wants to know more about ur vawa or have a supervisor review ur case. Being though ur vawa is approved I think u should be fine becuz vawa was the hardest part. Good luck. For me I'm stil waiting for my vawa, it has been over 8 months no RFEs no prima face no denial/approval natta nothin. I'm very worried about it and also in removal. I don't think I have a good case cuz I didn't get a prima-facie , what do u think?

From what I understand they only ask you question from the I-485 which are based on your background. No No should be the correct answer. However, I read that some folks are being asked about their spouse.

-Are you still married to your spouse?

-Where did you last live with your spouse?

-Do you have any children with your spouse?

-If divorce what condition was the divorce based on?

Other Questions may be...

-What is your name?

-What is date of Birth?

-Country of birth?

-When did you last enter the country and how?

I must say that 90% of the interviews I read about was only I-485 yes or no answers.

Alternatively,

I received my Approval notice in the mail for I-360, but I did not get an email or mail about my I-485 being transferred to NBC which has being pending since July 2010. I went to my I-130 alone and asked the officer to transfer my i-485 to VSC. Should I call customer service? or just wait....

MURID Regarding your Question:

I received the letter saying that my case is transferred to NBC after 5 business days

from getting VAWA approval e-mail. VAWA approval e-mail on March 11 and NBC-transfer letter on March 17.

It was my first and only I-485.

I will recommend wait atleast 5 to 10 business days.

KWALA, There is no reasons to give up now.The light is just ahead.Remember that you had enough patience to wait for 7 years.I know that sometimes it can be difficult to handle such situation but close your eyes and lets the time go.Try to be concentrate in other area and put your case in the hands of God.Just relax Kwala and wait for those 180 days.It is not that far and you know it.Before that day, I'm confident that you will have an answer;if not,You will make another info pass and write them a letter explaining your situation.But know,Just relax.Everything will be fine for you

And thanks for the info about my I-485, because I was a lil worried, on my approval notice it reads "the petition indicate that you are in the United states and will apply for adjustment of status. You should contact your local jacks office to obtain form I-485" so am hinking they don't transfer my old I 485. Did your approval notice say anything like that.

Don't give up, you almost there... did the io said anything on the interview? is there anything that could have raised a red flag?

Sorry about that kwala, all I can tell u is just wait and give them 90 days. Don't think they forget about u but I didn't. I think the officer wants to know more about ur vawa or have a supervisor review ur case. Being though ur vawa is approved I think u should be fine becuz vawa was the hardest part. Good luck. For me I'm stil waiting for my vawa, it has been over 8 months no RFEs no prima face no denial/approval natta nothin. I'm very worried about it and also in removal. I don't think I have a good case cuz I didn't get a prima-facie , what do u think?

You still haven't gotten a prima facie? did you get the receipts a least? what does your case status online says? Very weird that you don't have prima facie or RFE yet.... you should look into it.

My AOS Interview was Good .

she ask me if i have kids 4 time while she ask me other questions in between ,i said no mam i dont have

She ask me for medical exams i said i send it to vermont service center .but how can someone stay healthy 7 years of drama .

she said i will look for that medical exams and that all for today .she took i-94 from my passport and my previous EAD cards .and make some copie of employment letter and court documents previously sent with my i-360 .

i just now call uscis customer service ,a nice officer told me the information pop up for your status i-485 is at local office there is no RFE ,and just 1 additional month left for decision just 1 month because uscis local office here where i live process now cases befor mine now 17 august 2010 i file i-485 on september 2010 that what i know i have to wait 30 days ,next month september 2010 cases .they will pick up my case .no one can review my case again in 30 days Only A Rebot because my case took 6 years to final decision of i-360 and many officers involve on the case .

the only thing they are serious about at the interview of AOS is if you maried again while your i-360 pending or broke the law after i-360 approval .

evrything else is waived .

Have u call the VAWA customer service line or send letters of inquiry. I got my prima facie with my receipt for filling which was about a week after I file. I advice you to talk to your lawyer and asked him or her to find a way of contacting vawa unit. Also make sure that your marriage lic was linked to your file.

Final word, keep praying and hope for the best its not easy I know for a fact but just have faith.
