Hi guys I am new i recently sent off my I-360 application..week later i recieved my reciept the following week I got a letter asking for additional evidence on residence, moral character, good faith I would like a little help with the moral character..what to send.. is an affidavit from friends and fam enough?

get a police clearnce or a cori check from your state cori unit

HI GhanaMade88, I see you live in Boston, I use to live in Chelsea, Ma, I need to do a Cori check also, should I go to the Chelsea police station, I was there last year to get 1 before I had filed my I-360 but the lady told me nothing for me comes up in her system and she cannot issue me the Clearance, now I have to go back again since USCIS requested it, I hope they don't tell me the same thing, what should I do? Or what should I say I'm requesting it for?

Hey guys, what is a cori check? One city here in NJ gave me a police clearance, but my current city referred me to Sagem Morpho for fingerprinting, they told it's the same as a nationwide clearance.

Hi 3bvsla,

I filed I-360 (VAWA), I-485 (AOS=Adjustment of Status) and I-765 (EAD= Employment authorization document) all together at the same time in Vermont center , back in March 2008 and paid $1,010.

I received my first EAC on July 2008 ( valid for 1 year). Now, for my renewal I-765 form, which it was sent by my Lawyer on June 2009, He sent it to NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER (NBC, I don't know why, but it worked) and got the card on my mailbox on July 2009 ( valid for 2 years). I'm still amazed about it.......I can't believe they processed my EAC that fast!!!!!!!!!!

So, the whole package was mailed out together and filed at the same office (Vermont), I did not need to send anything else, because all the evidences, affidavits, etc were filed at the same time.

You will need police clearance for the last 3 years. You will need it from every state or city where you used to live for more then 6 months.

Hi all,

I came across this website a few days ago and I cannot tell you how helpful you all have been. Its nice to know that I am not alone in this long and treacherous I360 road. I have a question and any response will be appreciated. My file was touched 3 days in a row last week. Anyone with any ideas what this might mean?

Did they give you a letter stating that they will give you an answer in sixty day on your final decision after they recieved the RFE?

Mona_Lisa:  I think you should try to file your EAD. I filed I-360 (VAWA), I-485 (AOS=Adjustment of Status) and I-765 (EAD= Employment authorization document) together at the same time in Vermont center , back in March 2008 and paid $1,010. As of today, my case is still pending but I received my first EAC on July 2008 ( valid for 1 year) and my lawyer sent request of renewal I-765 form last month (June 2009) and got the card on my mailbox on July 2009 ( valid for 2 years). It did work out...
