Thank you in peace.but,when you file for your Vawa, did you file for an employment authorisation as well? if yes,was it based on your previous I-485?.Where did you file for it? I went through hell will my abuser, and now my case is very confusing me.When will I stop crying? OH God!

I already had filled my I485 and I765... so i have my employment already, but Im sure that you can file if u haven't done it yet....

nov 04 Went to interview by myself, told officer will aplly for vawa

11/04 I485 touched (still on initial review)

11/21 officer called lawyer about the I485 (btw: really nice IO)

12/10 apply for VAWA, without background check

12/11 lawyer drop off a copy of I360 for the IO

12/15 Prima faice received

12/18 sent background check, also sent a letter to IO asking to expedite the I485 to vermont to be linked with I360

12/31 I360 touched

08/04 Apply for EAD renew

08/18 receive NOA

08/26 new card ordered

08/31 new card ordered (again??)

09/01 notice of approval of I765... (where is my VAWA approval??? God help me...)

09/03 EAD arrived in the mail!! ufa!

10/03 Sent letter to renew prima facie and inquire about vawa status.

No, is not... but u should try to see a doctor anyway... I don't think is that expensive...

I don't think I was to clear in my last answer... I filed the I485 and the I765 with my husband, when I went to the interview they canceled my I130 and left my I485 pending. A month later I applied for vawa. I think you have to file with the vermont center... Do you have a lawyer? he should be able to tell you. maybe the other members here can give some info... be strong!! good luck... :star:

I just checked the processing time for the vermont center and it changed from 5.3 months to 6.4 months.... Oh God!!! that means that they are taking even longer now... :star:

I don't think I was to clear in my last answer... I filed the I485 and the I765 with my husband, when I went to the interview they canceled my I130 and left my I485 pending. A month later I applied for vawa. I think you have to file with the vermont center... Do you have a lawyer? he should be able to tell you. maybe the other members here can give some info... be strong!! good luck... :star:

Thanks in peace.I do have a lawyer who seems not to know a lot about vawa.I just don't want to live another traumatic experience.I have been really hurt by the abuse of my ex husband.I loved and trusted him a lot.My lawyer is also not really working on my case.At the beginning it was okay because I was more concern about my safety.Now i'm very dissapointed because it looks like I don't have a lawyer at all( have to find all the informations and do my paperworks by myself).It's Okay because I know that God is going to be my real lawyer.

I hope that all is well with you.. I am so worried that I did not get my biometrics for my EAD that I applied for back on March 4, 2011. What is taking these people so long...??? On the other hand, I got My Prima Facie Extension in the mail today... They extended it for 60 days and not their usual 180 days... I wonder what this mean? My I-360 case has not been touched though... this is all so confusing.. Can Anyone share their experiences? Thoughts? Suggestions? You guys have been the only support I have and I thank you for it...

1/2008- I131 and I765 approved after extensive background check

Tuna, Best wishes to you. My thought: they will make a decision in 60 days. Your case is outside of processing time and they should give you a response soon. Regards.

I can only imagine what you are going through.. But I think Tuck is right, you should get a decision soon!!! Is been a year that you applied... Let's hope for the best!! :star:

Now, about the touches, I remember when I got my prima-facie, my case took almost a month to show up at he uscis website... So, I don't think they update that often... Some people got approved without having any touches, right?
