I'm so happy for you, my EAD is only good for 1 year, I hope by then I'll be approved. I was able to renew my driver's license but there is a "temp immigrant status" right in front and only good for 1 year.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to ALL our good news....God Bless

Thank you Niagara, Bubles and all of you for your support. I'm still amazed how fast they processed my new EAD, ONLY 1 MONTH!!!!!!!!!!.

I live in Florida and my driver license says TEMPORARY as well, I think until we don't become LPR that ugly red sign in our driver licenses is not going to dissapear.

Don't worry about EAC is valid for 1 year, I also had my first one valid for 1 year only, but I think the second one will be 2 years for everyone. B)

I have a question-after the case had been approved what's next?Im applying for an I-485?some of my friends saying that the cost of a GC also includes EAC and AP,is that true??Is it better to have a lawer or i can do it myself?

My case has been approved!!!!!!Im so happy now,finally i can begin a normal life...

But can i apply for a work autorization card while waiting for an intervew for a GC?

How long you been waiting?

Ive been waiting since june so it took for me about a year....but in this country im for 5 years now...Im soooo happy,i want to begin a new life and forget about my past which was uneasy

It's will be my Forth EAD and all of them were only for 1 year.

My driver license valid for 10 years and i don't have any restrictions, but on my SS card said " Valid for work only".

Your driver license is valid for 10 years??????? How come?

They processed my docs as follows:

• 1st EAC --- > Valid for 1 year
• Driver license ----> Expires same date as EAC. Red sign: TEMPORARY in front of it
• SSN ----- > Valid ONLY for work
• 2nd EAC ----- > Valid for 2 years

My VAWA case is still pending........I have not heard anything from them since April 1st 2009, when I got first prima facie letter.So, I really don't know how they have been processing our cases, there is not standard procedures at all, only God knows what and how they're doing it

May the God's peace fills up our hearts and releases our pain soon......... Take care guys......... I'll get back to you, once I have more news...

i filed my vawa in november 2007 and it just got approved in march of this year so i understand what you are going through but i believe you will be approved soon!! dont worry Gods time is the best time!!!!!! and the process after the vawa is very very quick

HI GhanaMade88, I see you live in Boston, I use to live in Chelsea, Ma, I need to do a Cori check also, should I go to the Chelsea police station, I was there last year to get 1 before I had filed my I-360 but the lady told me nothing for me comes up in her system and she cannot issue me the Clearance, now I have to go back again since USCIS requested it, I hope they don't tell me the same thing, what should I do? Or what should I say I'm requesting it for?
