I included I-864W as for wava the affidavit can be waved. Although now I worry about the interview because right now I don't have a job and I don't know whether that would be a problem.

I also thought I-864W was a waver but they still asked me to bring the proof of income for a year. well, i didnt work much but friends and family helped a lot so i just brought all the bank statements showing all the deposits i did. they just need a proof that you will not go to ask for the help from government straight after you get the green card.

good luck and little advice for you, bring those money proof with you, in case they ask for it, otherwise you might get a RFE and then wait and wait again, just like i did.

Did you provide proof income for a year just before the interview? Is there a minimum amount that is required? I got helped from friends too. Thanks for the advice I will collect anything that can help.

Thanks, I will take statements and hopefully it will be fine. It would be nice to get the whole thing behind me. I guess that's how all of us feel.

Congratulations for all approved VAWA petitioners..I was approved too and have an interview scheduled on the 3rd of March but I was just wondering why my son has his own interview schedule. Is there anybody who knows what would be the question for a 7 yr old boy...who might have forgotten what took place 3 yrs ago...Men! I am just so worried about this interview....

Also those who have undergone I-485 interview thru VAWA...did you have any lawyer with you? Did you bring medical packet even if you have submitted it 3 yrs ago? Pls help me...I don't want to get a lawyer because I can't afford it..but I am afraid of what kind of Questions are they going to ask....

Not sure about new medical, they did ask me to bring a new medical but i have no submitted any when applying with ex husband, fiancees had the waver, submited only vaccination records. they might tell u renew it because yours is too old or they might not, it depends on the officer. if i were you, i would have gone without any and prey they will not ask for it. its all money i know, the worst case will be that they give u the RFE to bring the it back to them. Think about it

Answer. They do send two separate interviews for parent and for a child under VAWA. do NOT worry about that, my child 6yo got the approval 5months earlier than i did HAHAHA, all i had to do is to bring him to the interview and bring the proof of income that i can afford rasing him without government help, same proof of income i had to show for myself. so BRING lots of bank statements, or anything u have to show them that. and thats all. it is going to be OK. Noone asked me any questions about abuse or anything. Stay calm. i never hired any lawer, not that RICH, did everything by myslef, Vawa and I-485 for me and my child, it is totally doable. Good Luck:)

I know is just too much to handle. I got RFE for good moral character and proof of abuse. They asked me rewrite my statement wit more details. I am doing it by my self without a lawyer.
