I am so sorry you have been waiting all this time.. If you have someone special in mind, why don't you ask your lawyer if you can go ahead and marry that person and ask them to petition for you? Just a thought... I don't know what your exact circumstances are, but That is WAY TOO Long to be waiting...

Also, have you ever thought of filing a Writ of Mandamus, where u compel the USCIS to take action and adjucate your case? It can be a little pricey as a lawyer must do this, But I think it's worth it if you get results from it.. I just feel so bad for you.. I mean I have almost been waiting for 4 years, I can't imagine 7... You indeed have much patients and Faith in God... AlhamdulilAllah..

As per your case...7 years is a long time, I doubt if they will deny your case now, they just have to approve it, so you can move on with your life. I wonder if this people in Vermont understand what we immigrants have to go through after an abusive relationship . I wish you the best.

Do you have work authorization? I'm just wondering how you survive if you can't work.

Hi, My I 360 was also touched on oct 5th 2010. I was wondering why they touched the expired EAD from last year. I already got new EAD last month. My old EAD was expired in march 2010 and I didnot had EAD ever since till last month sept 2010.

if this happend to anyone?

tuna - looks like an approval to me... I have noticed consistently that anyone who has had multiple touches in a short time span ended up with an approval. You can take a look at my timeline too so that you can have some idea. I think it is an approval and you should hear from them in the upcoming weeks. Perhaps the time to relax has come. Hang in there and I am hoping and praying for you that it is an approval. Don't stress and just see what happens in the upcoming weeks.

with everyone getting so many touches it seems like they may be trying to play "catch up" on all the applications which is a good thing especially if it is before the holiday season. Hopefully, we will see more approvals and positive news for everyone.

what prima facie can do for you ? Rent ? Bills ? Emergency medical ? phone? insurance ? Foods ? transports?

Of course will affect adjust status .that why interview is needed for vawa to find out ground of inadmisibily .is not good to use prima facie that called public charge will be on your record rest of life .

Everyone should request work permit to VSC Under (14 c ) write letter with your i-765 tell them you need to work to puy laundry . So prima facie will not give you even milk for the child .some people should be permanent residence to get benifits .

look at tuna time line she request renewal of prima facie but vsc Toush her 131 to find out if she is travel and can afford it and not afford food .

prima facie or any assistance benifits is not good for your case because most vawa people when they write the history letter they should say Dear officer I NEVER get any assistance or public benifits or comited any crime please Grant my petition .

I am so happy for everyone who got their VAWA approved and for all of us waiting I pray for a quick examination and approval for all our case....Right now, I am in the verge of frustration....Our Visa (mine and my son's) expired last August and our Prima Facie will expire Nov.. I need to get an extension so that my son's medicaid will continue( I didn't use his medicaid yet but I am afraid that If something will happen to him then I will need it, I don't have job yet...) plus the school is asking for it too...Is there anybody who could tell me how to apply for the extension of prima facie? What should I say in the application and what documents are needed??? I lost my attorney too so I need to do it all by myself..No money to pay her either...Pls help me as soon as possible....Thanks!!!

hmnnn..That sounds interesting...I was about to renew my prima facie so that at least I have a medicaid for my son..now I need to renew it for that rreason..but if it will make my case weak then I think I will not...Thanks!!!!

that will affect your record if you want bring someone from familly here in future .you will not share with anyone the prima facie .is better for you to respect other to be respected if you speak 2 language i speak 5 man .or Mam . when you gona have the court .do they ask you for good moral character ?

This is the Prima Facie extension my lawyer sent out to vermont to extend my prima facie...

I didn't get it yet, but I suggest you send it out a month before it expires..
