I am really frustrated too guys... no touches, no nothing.. The processing times say it only takes 5 month for vermont to adjucate this VAWA petition... I don't think anyone here on this forum got approved in 5 months.. why do they raise people's hopes like that? Isn't what we all went through with our abusive marriages enough... where are our human rights?

03/2007- Marriage to USC

5/2007- Package mailed with 1st I-485, I-765, I130, I131

6/2007- RFE mailed & case resumed

8/2007- Initial interview with spouse and USCIS

1/2008- I131 and I765 approved after extensive background check

12/2008- 2nd I-765 approved

4/2009- Separated from spouse..

9/2009- 3rd I-765 Approved

2/2010- 2nd interview with USCIS- interrogated

2/2010- All initial applications touched

4/08/2010- Package mailed with I-360, 2nd I-485, I-765, I-131

4/17/2010- Receipt issued for each form

4/27/2010- 1st Prima Facie issued, I-360 touched

5/08/2010- Biometrics for I-485 done

Hey Tuna, my case is over due because I was suppose to get a response from June and its now August. My lawyer said I shouldn't call and rush them for a decision, just have patience and wait for a decision. All we have to do is have faith and pray.

Hope you guys are doing great and hanging in there. "After every storm a rainbow appears", your rainbow will appear soon, so keep praying and have faith and you will soon see the light at the end of the tunnel. EWTN, how are you doing? So sorry I haven't been in touch, life is a bit hectic with work, but I'm blessed. Hope all is well with you. Please send me your email again. Yayah, I do hope things will change for you soon and you will have your green card in hands. Victoryismine, good luck to you on your interview on the 18th, the nightmare is almost over. To everyone who is now filing, be patient, get your mind off of it, do your normal day to day activities and you will be approved in no time. My I-360 was touched today, however I'm a bit worried because when I check my status online it states "On August 11th, 2010 we received your response to our request for evidence". However, my lawyer nor I have sent anything in besides what we sent in June. I'm getting worried what this means. I have complete anxiety over this case; I don't know how all you others are getting through it or have gone through it.

If you'd like to give me your 2 cents, I'd love to hear it.

Applied for VAWA (incomplete package) April 6th, 2010

VAWA application received April 7th, 2010

NOA1 received April 16, 2010 (dated April 9th, 2010)

Prima Facie received April 21, 2010 (dated April 12th, 2010)

Sent out complete I-360 case including I-485 June 14th, 2010

Received email stating will receive a response within 60 days (probably either RFE or approval/denial) June 18th, 2010

I-360 touched June 19th, 2010

I-360 touched June 21st, 2010

I-360 touched June 23rd, 2010

Submitted I-765 July 2nd, 2010

Hello LostinNJ, i see ur the pioneer of this thread we communicate. we r all glad u started it because it helps people like us who are in need. Anyway, i wanted to ask ur opinion about my case, hope u read it. The question is "have u ever heard about the service approving 1-485, even if its VAWA, who has a removal order? or do you think it needs to be reopened with the IJ before approval?" Am really confused about the whole mess.

My Adjustment of Status was APPROVED!!!! this morning. YaaaaaaaaaaaaH!!!

My AOS Interview went well this morning. The Interview process took less than 10 minutes.Very quick!.. Interview time was 8:30am and I was there by 8:15am...I was called in at 8:35am..The Officer was very cool and friendly. He led me into the room and told me to raise my right hand up for an oath. Then he started asking for my Passport, ID and I-94, I immediately furnished him everything he ask for, then he ask me when is the last time I've seen my ex-spouse and he ask for Divorce document and my Birth Certificate, I gave him those as well. He made me relaxed throughout the Interview process. He then started asking the Yes & No questions, when he got to the Criminal section, he ask; have you ever been arrested or charged with a crime and I said yes that it was connected with the abused I went through and the Charge has been dismissed and expunged. I immediately want to furnished him the documents to back it up and he said he doesn't need it that he already review and researched my case that am fine. I was immediately relaxed and he said am going to Approved your case Congratulations, he started writing some documentations note with Red pen at the right Official Only section of my I-485 Applications. He shook my hand and he said do you have any questions for me then I said when can I get my green card then he said in 2 weeks then he smiled and he patted my back and led me out of the room and he said Congratulations. I am now free...I am so Happy.Thank you Jesus!
