OMG! Base on berrgon post im in grounds of inadmissibility, because i overstayed my i-94 already. guys does anyone here have the same situation?! i hope it will not affect our petition.

Relax. Many before you have overstayed the i-94 and it does not necessarily automatically means denial. It can be a problem because with signing the i-94 you give up any right of fighting the decisions of immigration related to your case. I asked a lawyer about that and he told me that "the vawa should trump the I-94w issue. the i-94 is the visa waiver. the new rule will probably not effect the aos application as to do so would through hundreds if not thousands of similar cases into disarray."

good luck

Hi Everyone,

I haven't replied in a long while because nothing has really been happening with my case besides today. I'm soo pissed my EAD got denied! It is probably because it was not submitted with the I-485 initially so that's why. But that just means more time for me to get my EAD. Also, supposedly my attorney sent in my I-485 June 18th, however we have not received a NOA1 yet. Which based on other peoples' timelines, doesn't seem right.

Other than that, no new news besides what's in my signature.

Hope everyone is keeping the faith! I am, despite being in a bad mood about my EAD.

Early Walk-Ins Biometrics Done Today Yay!!!

I received my Biometrics Appointment yesterday 08/02/2010....Early Walk-ins Biometrics was Done Today 08/03/2010...Code 3

I got there around 10:13 am, few people were there, I was fingerprinted and get done within 15 minutes. The waiting period to the Biometric process was very quick and the staffs in there were so friendly and professional. They didn't question/query me about the Original Appointment date in my notice letter, they just verified my identity and gave me a form to fill out and within 15 minutes I was Fingerprinted... 10 fingers, Photo and Signature and 10:30am I was out of the place. I get that out of the way now waiting for my interview!!!..... One more huddle to cross over.

Dear Forum Members,

It's been awhile since I've not posted or written in this site. As for me, I say I filed my I-360 on Feb 2008. Since then, NO NEWS. It's so freaking frustrated I do know and I do understand every single anxiety you have been through these months, because I've being in your shoes for over 2 years and a half.

Easy say and done, right? But the only advice I could give you is: PRAYER, PATIENCE AND HOPE. Do not ever go to sleep thanking God for being here and being ALIVE. None of us could realized that many could be dead because of our abusers. DO not ever forget that sooner or later, this freaking journey will end and here or back in our countries of origin, you will be HAPPY AND ALIVE. Keep dreaming and hoping for a better future for you and your loved ones.

Sincerely,

EWTN2009

Hello flow member

I just got some interesting news about my case today. So Some lady in vawa hotline did call my attorney

About his recent inquiry Today and told him that VSC is waiting on my A FILE .they did request it from ICE (because I’m in proceeding ) and told him that why they didn’t mad decision on my case yet and my attorney also told me that if VSC they don’t need you’re A FILE IF YOUR CASE DENID and he mentions the ICE is very slow

So that was little relief today .so tomorrow my attorney he is going to writ letter to the prosecutor to forward my A FILE to Vermont

everything that happening at this moment is a RESULT of the CHOICE you ve made in the past...
